Pardon my ignorance, but is this new??? If so, EA knows any processes your pc is running?? I just noticed this, it was highlighted as a new program on another PC... One I am scripting on, I open it up, and it shows everything my computer is doing... LOL!! Well, not too funny seems how the euox process shows. ???

its in program files, in eagames folder. 2d client shows it, my SA client does not.

Mine was in the Support folder, been deleted ever since I saw it.

It's kinda odd, did you open it?? EEeeek! It shows EVERYTHING running on your pc. Says it is for EA support, but that is just too close for comfort. Weird it isn't on the SA clients... Or on KR. I did download ML off of ea.com or herald I believe.
Okay, deleted mine too, found in... c:\program files (x86)\EA games\UltimaOnline 2D client\support
They getting sneaky or what??

I have always changed the name of EUOX.exe to something else. Works fine.

I had it in my 2D Client > Support folder! It got the insta-delete pwnstick!

so the name of it is "ElectronicArts Easy Info Tool.exe??" I searched but I can't seem to find a file by that name on my computer. Can someone post the name of the file as it appeared in in the directory?

It's just called "EasyInfo.exe". It's been shipped with UO for quite a long time.

And it has officially been trashed on my comp I still am amazed that they are allowed to infringe like that.

I don't remember what it is, because I deleted it.
If you go Start\Program files\eagames\2d client you will see it in there, if you dont see it in there, it's not on your pc.
Otherwise c:\program files (x86)\EA games\UltimaOnline 2D client\support in there is a file called EA Easy Info Tool.

I doubt EA actually ever does anything with it (they'd have to execute it remotely). It's designed to be used if you're having technical issues and you need to submit a tech support request so they can collect all the information they need to determine if the issue is software, hardware, or idiot based. The terms of service don't allow them to scan your computer without your knowledge, so I doubt the GM's even KNOW about this tool.
