Title: smelting

is there anyone else having a problem with smelting ore. on my blacksmithy I'm 120 and for some reason it says i can't melt the ore when i standing next to the forge and anvil in the blacksmith shop in Luna. any feed back would be great...oh and i did contact EA about this morning and I still haven't heard any news, go figure right

You need to have mining on your character to smelt. Blacksmith only matters when trying to craft. Hope that helps!

here is a screen shot of the skills on my blacksmith. i have tried human and gargoyle. I don't know what else to do. well anyway

It looks you're trying to smelt an item that you just can't smelt. What type of item is it?

it was shadow iron ore. I've been mining to get more ingots and now i can't even turn the ore into ingots. this is f$%ked up

I guess if I would've read your first post more carefully, I would've caught it before... On EA shards, you just double click the ore and then the forge. You only need to use the blacksmith tool for crafting, repairs and enhancing  :)
