Welcome CocolocoX!

Even with shitty graphics UO is a great game. Now imagine how great it would be if it had some kickass graphics! ;)

Glad you found us! Enjoy the site and community here!

Movie Review / Re: Zero Dark 30

It must be Seal Team Six that I saw (If it has some Zodiacs in it with Min guns on them heh) but I definately liked it more than Zero Dark 30.  I found Zero Dark to be MOSTLY about the intelligence women & found the movie boring up until the actual raid.  Perhaps that's bc I'd seen Seal Team Six & thus knew the story line, but  I'm definitely an ACTION flick guy so might just be that....

I'm the exact opposite I'd much rather see what happens behind the scenes and the politics that take place at the highest level of our government, especially in our intelligence agencies. I've seen enough action movies when I was young e.g Die Hards, Rambo, Terminators.

You wouldn't like the Good Shepard with Matt Damon which is based on the CIA eccentric James Angelton. Matt Damon barely speaks two words in the whole movie and I think the movie is great. I love real Spy movies. ;)

That's the other thing about the movie: It's based on real life events and show the events that transpired leading up to the raid which I find more interesting than the assault itself. It seems for awhile we had all given up hope of ever finding UBL.

And that women "Maya" was a badass. God Bless her soul! 8)

Uncommon Valor is an 80s flick with Gene Hackman and the late and great Patrick Swayze. I love that movie!

A true classic!  8)

Let us know what you think Neo! :)

@Alpha I hope your not talking about Seal Team Six. I watched 20 minutes of it and then I couldn't take anymore turned it off. Seal Team Six is nowhere remotely in the vicinity of being as good as Dark Zero Thirty. :P

Now if that's not it and there is another movie as good as Dark Zero Thirty let me know because I'm interested in seeing it.

Off Topic / Re: Ram - How much ram do you have in your system ?
« on: March 11, 2013, 07:41:16 PM »
I'm went from 4G DDR2 to 8GB DDR2 a few months ago and while it's better it's still not enough. :(

I usually run 4 UO Clients, 3-4 web pages, VLC playing movies or songs and running 1 instance of VMWorkstation.

You can't have enough RAM in my opinion, it's the best thing you can do to gain performance on your PC.

Been eyeing some boards at Newegg.  LGA 1155 w/ Z77 chipset supports 32gb while LGA 2011 X79 supports 64gb.

Yes I'd buy a x79 and fill it up with 64GBs, if only I wasn't so poor. 8)

Two thumbs up! 8)

I wasn't quite sure what Zero Dark Thirty was about prior to watching it. I thought it was going to be a horror movie...

I almost turned the movie off during the first two minutes because it's hard to sit through but I'm so glad I didn't.

Anyone who gets the opportunity check it out!

I just installed Linux Mint last week with VMWorkstation to check it out.

For my Linux + Class we're using Debian 6 (which I have installed) but I wanted to try something with a bit more zest. I'm down to 1 PC right now. If I had multiple PCs I think I'd start loading some up with different distros.

As I'm new to this it gets confusing which GUI and desktop is which. Linux Mint is Mate and Cinnamon? This *bleep* gets confusing...bleepin' programmers!  :P

That's one thing when learning about Linux...you can tell right about it's was geared towards programmers.

The Look and feel of Linux Mint is much more on par with a modern OS. It's not like a night and day difference from Win7 where Debian 6 felt totally different.

The only time that I'm aware when a NPC Smith says I'm not interested is when your trying to turn in incomplete BODs.

Not anyone I know of....

Shouldn't page a GM if your using EasyUO though that's just asking for trouble.

I don't know if a GM is the one who actually makes the decision about whether or not to close an account. Just guesswork on my part but I think that's a decision that could possibly go to someone with a higher paygrade. Not saying the GM is wrong just not 100% that he is the one that makes the call on that.

Garden Bed functionality would be nice. Ghost is working on a GB which we're testing when we can. I tossed in my working GB subs that I used when I do my GB'ing.

What I look for in a GB script is:

1) Plant the seeds
2) Cross Pollinate
3) Extract the Seed or Resource
4) Set to Deco mode and cut up the plant

We have some subs and scripts that will do a little of each but no AIO.

I'm taking a Linux course this semester. I finally get to whet my beak and see what all the hub bub is about with Linux.

One of my assignments was watching two interesting documentaries on Linux/Unix. They are very interesting and entertaining for anyone of you geeks who might be interested and haven't heard of them.

Revolution OS

The Code

What is it TM you like so much about Linux?

I'm already impressed with some of the things it can do!

I really think Linux will one day rival Microsoft.

It's growing!

That's right...I think I remember reading by default only the owners and co-owners can access the GB.
