This is my Friend Niks looter. He has since quite playing and I have not been able to contact him. I was hopping some one could show me what I am missing. I have read threw every section trying to find out why this thing will not loot brigands, murderers, or other humanoid type mobs.

It appears that he was using event property to find the corpse and this is not working for huminoids i believe. I just ran though the code and did not actually try it. There are a few item types that are only used for corpses and this would be how I would have done it. Someone else may have a different idea on it.

Does this mean that it cant be changed to loot brigands.

sure it can.
first things first you need to find out the item type for humaniod corpses.
When you open a humaniod corpse before doign anything else what does the #conttype get set to (in right hand collumn of easyuo under the containor info section)

I went to buc's den and killed many murderers every one I opened sai YFM for #conttype. I had tried adding that into several places but with no luck. Other Looter I use will loot huminoid bodies, problem is they do not have the grab all ([GA) function or the claim ([CL) function that is needed for my shard.

Might try commenting out the following lines in both sub grab and sub loot:

Wow thanks. it worked perfect :D. You know I had tried something like that before except I removed finditem YFM G_2 and so It broke all together. Guess I need more studying on how this stuff works :P

I just try it and at line 88 I add the X here :: finditem YFM_X G_2 :: that was for the Red mage healer. I did loot his gold. Now at the second mage, nothing happen. I'm still trying to find why. I kill a deer and the skin didn't work and not sure what he the grab option. I will read a bit more.

This script is set up for a free shard that has some option I don't think that OSI has. [GA gives you a target hand that you select a corps from and it will gather all stackables. [CL is a function That as far as I know is only on my shard. It deletes the mob and rewards you with 1 platinum coin. Platinum can be used to buy some very useful items but cost large amounts of plat. as much as 25K that's a lot of monsters to claim.

glad the community could help you out banshee... just for a little lession the "finditem" comamnd is what finds the corpses... Actually finditem will find anything but adding the YFM type means only look for corpses.. and the G_2 means on the ground in a radius of 2 spaces from your character.
So for example if you wanted to look for gold on the ground in a 20 tile radius you would do finditem POF G_20 (pof being the type code for gold) :)

Well you can always look at the wiki,... it does a decent job of explaining commands.. if your stuck after reading about a particular command .. just ask

I do use yours. But this script was my chance to get into the gut of a broken script. I added the part were it drags things that are not [ga obtainable.
I should explain [ga. They way it works is it gathers anything that is stack able and places it in an item we have called a "Grab Pack".
I spent two months trying to fix it before I asked for help.

Ghost, it's not that good. EUO doesn't let me post rails. Let me take a look at the rules over here, maybe I'll add the function that I had in there for my character. A little rail recording snippet at the beginning so there wasn't random running around.

Trying to figure out to get rail for hunt Lizardam for spined leather. have to recall out of location and walk to hunt and walk out to recall. It a bit of a pain right now. :))

Well since you have been so kind to help me with my bod sorter, how about you let me toss together an SUO version of that looter and post it here. Maybe take me until Friday to get it done. (got lots of work on the docket + bodsorter + some other scripting to be done, and an 3 IDOCs to hawk)

Simply you run around... one time at the start. The script records your movement locations. Then when you get back to where you started, you press go at it! Actually, what I did was hardcode my rail by using openEUO to print off code to paste into euox so I didn't have to record my rail over and over again. Rail's are much easier to manage in oEUO I think.
The question is, how do you guys like to kill your prey? I was hunting animals so I'd pop earth quakes and hand out fireballs to the survivors.

Well again I have free shard stuff to work with, so my weapon is much more beefy than an OSI one. I have what is called an Arbalest (http://pfstore.haazenfoos.com/images/arbalest_3.jpg) and 4 mirrors. so I just walk around and destroy stuff.

I use my Sammy to hunt for leather. so Lot of corpse to chop, therefore I use a War Butcher Cleaver :) so it faster. I can hold 400 leather on me, I recall often.

Some times it benefits to be on a free shard with custom stuff. We have a sewing chest that you carry the gump from it with you so you never have to recall. We also have crystals that store resources like ingots, wood, reagents, imbuing agents, stuff for planting, scrolls, and marble. Haazen has built quite a few things for us that makes the game fun.
I have been trying to figure out how to get some of the crafting scripts to work with the crystals. You can craft using the resources in the crystal without having to have them in your pack. It will dispense the amount you need based on what you are crafting calls for. For example: If you smith something that takes 25 ingots, it will put 25 ingots in your bag.
Very nice little tool. It also will store all your looted stuff that goes in it with one click. Also no need to carry reagents with you taking up valuable bag space and weight. They can be used strait from the crystal. Though I no longer need that as I am 100% LRC. Still makes some good money on resale.
