New member introductions / Introduction from Atlantic Shard
« on: April 20, 2021, 11:31:20 AM »
I've been playing UO since it came out of Beta testing(if they even did it back then) around 1998 or maybe before.. It was before I was married and that was 21 years ago....

I am back for probably my 4th time in those 21 years. I came back 2 years ago but it didn't stick very long.. I am on Atlantic Shard and I even got my wife back on this time with me. Also a 1998 veteran. She was very active in the Atlantic scene and was invited to be a speaker at Goodman's wake after his death so many years ago...

I tend to try and do a lot of loner stuff and get frustrated that this game at its core and what makes it special is that the best parts require cooperation with other people..

I am hoping I can get my wife to use this tool to get her character up to snuff in 2021 as her old template is getting her killed way to much and I don't want her Rage quitting on me again... So I got her to agree to try a mild sampire build with Necromancy.. Just need to get her a Stone so she can drop a few things on them....

Thank you for keeping the lights on here and I hope I can get it to work again.. I remember this being a crucial tool in not spending my entire life playing UO.. I never used it to enrich myself, only to gain skills that I really wanted to try outside of the Test Center....

New member introductions / Hello from an old UO'er
« on: August 12, 2009, 08:48:29 PM »
Been many years since I played UO. I'm back for more punishment. Brought up a new character the old fashioned way, but I am looking for just a little bit of help with a new char in the hiding/stealth dept.

Hoping this version works as good as the last one did. Man that saved me a lot of finger clicking... I don't run my macro's and walk away, I'm just hoping to save my hands from cramping :) ...

Thanks for keeping this site going..

Robert
