Ok, I did try to be still as much as possible last night.  I normally use this script in high spawn areas, such as gathering keys for Effusion, so it can be difficult to sit still.  It didn't seem to crash though since I was being more careful.

Thanks for the information.

Hello, I have used this script for some time off and on as a returning player and so forth.  I am having an issue with essentially the client crashing and just closing some times.  I am not 100% sure, but it may be with the speed of looting or something getting hung on the cursor, I am just not sure.  I have read through a good portion of the 75 pages and am not finding anything specific, but I can't imagine I have been the only one to have this issue, but I am not finding anything referencing it anywhere else.  If it is a setting of some sort, or some other way I can maybe test changing the speed, if you can point me in the correct direction I can usually figure it out.

I would appreciate any help, insight, or maybe even a point at where this may have been addressed earlier?

UO-Related Tutorials / Re: The easiest way to gain Parry
« on: October 24, 2017, 01:04:17 PM »
The easiest way I have found to gain parry is to go to Papua.  South of the bank there is a pen with an Animal vendor.  Go there with a bunch of weapons that are NOT your primary weapon skill, so if I am a swords I take a guy with a bunch of leafblades.  You also need to be neked for this (They will beat the crap out of any armor you are wearing).  Normally, I will bring another account with a mage to heal the guy training and just setup a macro in Razor to have him heal the training guy every 8 seconds or so and then invis.  Next buy a rabbit.  Tell the rabbit to stay and guard you.  Then attack him.  Once you attack him, immediately go from war to peace and release the rabbit.  Now the rabbit should start attacking you.  If he strays off for some reason just re-attack him and then go immediately in to peace mode.

Rinse and repeat this (You will have to wait for a timeout to buy another rabbit) until you have about 15 or so (I have had up to 30 with two mages healing me) rabbits attacking you.  They all do 1 point of damage if they hit you.  I have taken a dude from 0-120 parrying in about an hour or so with this method.

Hey, just wanted to drop a short note and say thanks to TM and all the others who made this script.  The script is fantastic and I appreciate everyone's effort and the kindness to share it with everyone else.  Thank you.

I know I am way wayyyy behind on this old post, but the link that was originally placed no longer works.  Does anyone out there still have this program that I can grab from them?

New member introductions / Back to UO

Hello, my name is Mick.  Just recently re-joined UO after moving from Louisville, KY to Montana.  Yes, That Montana, where the men are men and so are the women.  Anyways, been playing UO off and on since beta, but have taken extended breaks.  I played pretty consistently until right after the AOS release and then quit for about 3 years.  Came back, played for about a week and then quit again.  Meanwhile I have been doing the World of Warcraft thing, but I think that has played out and I have decided to go back to my official "Crap" collecting hobby in UO.  I have written some small small scripts to do things like organize runes in bags many many moons ago, but couldn't tell you where they are, or how to do it again if I wanted to.  Anyways, I plan on doing some scripting once I get my little UO dudes back up to speed.  In the meantime, hello, ohh and I also play on Catskills.

My main focus in the game is really just collecting things.  I used to have an extensive rare collection on Catskills and owned a castle in Trammell.  At one point I had the thing stocked full of rares.  I would do the whole wake up at 6:00 AM and have my thief hiding near the fruit baskets and some of the others.  Alas, I let everything go, allowed my castle to drop and away with all my things (When I quit though, they had housing decay turned off, so no telling how long it stood).  I also preferred playing my dexxer, but did very little PVP.  My favorite hunting spot was near the Valor shrine at the bridge where the Lich Lords spawned.

Anyways, I look forward to getting back in to the game.  There was one script I was searching for that I didn't see though.  It was a recall script that purchased regs from the NPC's.  I know back in olden times (I sound like my dad now) the NPC's carried hundreds of regs on them at a time, but now only 20 or so, so reg gathering can be a pain.  Any help would be much appreciated, and if not, well, I guess I have my first scripting project.

Happy hunting!
