This is a simple script for farming rare tailoring recipes. It requires KalOcr . There is no restocker but a simple loot sorter that dumps everything in one bag while trashing quiver recipes and backpacks.

Remove all backpacks that you don't want to lose before running this.

Gem, Im sure your library of scrip if better and more up to-date that what the private forum have to offer.   I have use one script  so far and took me 55 hrs to get it to work :)

But how many of those hours were actually the script itself, or the script user and his ancient SOSes?  heh.  Who woulda though one would have SOSes pre-dating the authoring of a nearly 8 year old script.  That one still makes me chuckle.

I know, I was teasing. Of course I wanted to see it all when I was needing more help but I don't think I have even one script that I use today which is original anymore, I've made changes to everything for my needs, lol. The ones I use most I wrote myself at this point.

Still, there's always a morcel of code here or there that inspires  ;)

But learning to script is all about learning from sample code.

I agree, I learned by examining one script, seeing what (and more importantly why) it could do what it does and expanding on it. Wouldn't have been possible without this community backing up and encouraging total newbs, the patience...  ;)

Will you be trying out other games with all your newfound free time TM?

I got 500 bucks burning a hole in my pocket right now.  ;)  In honor of you throwing in the towel, maybe I will too. If anyone would like some free scripting lessons on Pac. Let me know. I'll help out before I quit too. I've been considering quitting for the last 2 or 3 months myself.

Near pier 55, and to help you digest this big steak, a walk to the aquarium.    The Canadian sailor love this area.

Just as long as you don't try to pinch my butt, then sure.  :)

When you get to Seattle. Dinner at the Metropolitan Grill is on me. Prime Filet, 4 oz., American Wagyu Filet, 4 oz.  & Ohmi Filet, 4 oz.* 125$ plus Alaskan King Crab Legs. Market price as always. You're paying the tip. They have Hokkaido Snow Beef too, but that's 120$ for a 6 oz. filet. The other way you get to try 3, 4 oz. steaks for 125$. Much better deal. Just let me know.  ;)

My "daughter" goes to school as SPU, so I do find myself in Seattle from time to time.  So be careful what you wish for!

Trailmyx i salute for your service and the legacy you leave behind. ;)

As fellow scripter, as colleague on rebirthuo and member of this community i dont need to say how much positive impressions and imprints you
created. I joined this forum in january 2009 as a 21 years old person with very less knowlegde about development and an intermediate level of wisdom about uo.
Now 8 years and 9 months later i found my place in the IT-Science working as full fledged developer, runned rebirthuo, being part of the stealth client team.  My english also got more polished since our first encounter  :o :D ;D . This also is a result through your trust and efforts towards this community. In the early years i admired you and the elite members a lot. Your shares towards the community inflamed a continuously interest for me towards ultima online.

I also feel honored that we worked together on rebirthuo, the freeshard Tidus, Tecmo and me created and being supported by you since 2015. RebirthUO without you would be not the place we want or our player want. And your retirement is a huge loss.
I wonŽt forget all the great time and discussions we had about easyuo, stealth and rebirthuo and also the unique experience we displayed towards our community in that aspect.

I wish you for your personal life the best luck and fortune and that all you desire for your life will be fullfilled. If you ever happen to be around my area, you are free to contact me for coffee or a german Schnitzel :P

Crome - Elite member of Scriptuo \ Pure - Owner of RebirthUO (Closed)

What can I say; I'm humbled, my friend.  My fondest memories of Bavaria was both the Schnitzel and spaetzle.  Oh, and the relentless hospitality.

Thanks so much for all your help and for the community - I still study your subs regularly for tips and best practice.  Wishing you the best of luck in your break from UO!

I wouldn't go so far as say they were "best" practices.  heh.  But learning to script is all about learning from sample code.  Glad you found some use from it.
