My primary characters name is Gimp, who was a perma-red back in the pre-AOS days on the ATL server who lived at yew gate and hunted champ spawns to crash. Stepped away from UO shortly after the release of Samurai Empire expansion as I got heavily addicted to classic wow, as did many people no doubt. After over a decade of playing wow and getting completely bored of it and the direction it's going I decided to pick up Ultima Online again and am loving being back.
I'm 39 years old and work in the fintech space as a software architect. I've spent the last few weeks scripting a ton of things, including a full mining script that allows you to select n+1 rune books and then casually cycles through all the runes in the book mining in a grid pattern around, moving the ore to the beetle and banking it whenever the beetle is overweight... it also creates new axes whenever you have the tinkering skill to make them as well as displays all the ore you get at each location in an audit log... although I just now started dabbling with gumps and have grandiose plans for what I want this ore audit gump to be.
Once I'm done with the ore scripts gump I then want to quickly move onto a bod filler script, which I hear is quite an undertaking... but I'm up for it.
Finally, as far as want I want to get out of the game I'm looking for a little bit of everything. I'm currently working multiple mules, a few pvm templates for champ spawning and of course returning to my roots in UO as a pvp player by creating some BOK mages. Might be a while before you see me in in felucca as I get everything up to speed but as of right now having a blast and looking forward to completing some toons and grinding endgame content.

I started playing UO during my college years in the early 2000s, and fell in love with the huge world, adventure and how I wasn't pigeonholed into a set "template". I could be an Archer who cooks and can tame horses!
UO Age of Shadows is what really turned me from a nobody to someone fairly well known on the shard, with the addition of Doom stealables.
I was able to dust off my thief and spent most of my time there, stealing most artifacts when they were still fresh and wildly sought after. Of course, with only 100 Stealing, I kept failing and it took a huge number of attempts. This was also before we really knew the timers -- we knew the locations, but not timers.
At that stage, I decided to learn EasyUO and find a way to stealth around to detect artifacts and try to steal them, invis, etc.
I ran three thieves 24/7 and amassed a huge fortune, eventually becoming slightly famous for being the artifacts seller. A famous vendor castle on the shard even gave me my own vendor there to help attract people to his vendor mall, I earned my first 50M like this and it completely opened up my UO experience thereafter.
I write all of my scripts, and currently work in software development. Glad to see UO and the community still alive!

Javelin - and I tried scripting 15 years ago but never could get stuff to work right. Then I found scriptuo and found out that my old email doesnt work as with nothing else works in UO and it has been a chore getting back into things.... now I am finding that scriptuo is over.
Trying to relive the old days and I wont let it stop me yet LOL

Our only requirement to be part of this site is for new members to write a good and thoughfull introduction.
Before we will unrestrict you - you need to tell us a lot more!
Please greatly expand your introduction and tell us about yourself and your UO life.
Look at the sticked examples if you need insight.
I think you will find the effort required to write a four or five paragraphs will pay off with this community!
(Use a translator program if you feel you can not write in english.)
