ERangeError: Range Check Error
« on: April 07, 2017, 06:50:45 AM »

This application is new to me.  When I load the stealth client, using the settings offered in the youtube tutorial, I get to the character selection window, when I select any character this is what I get:

ERangeError: Range Check Error

Any suggestions as to what this means and how to correct it?  I am using version 7.9.7

If you posted an introduction and followed the site rule you might find that some of us will give you a little bit more time on your problem.  But without an introduction which only takes a few seconds we don't really like to reply and waste even more seconds because the majority ask a question get an answer to never return again, which in itself is very bad for our community.

What version of Windows are you using?  It seems to be having troubles selecting the character number in the list for some reason and causing it to go out of range.

64 bit Win10 Home, latest updates.

It selects the character, then within seconds the error pops up.

Ok.  Next set of questions.

Are you running as Admin?
Are you playing OSI or Freeshard?

Does it do it to you on all servers or just the one?

All.  I see this in the UO Journal: [08:37:36:242] You see: cliloc# $00119614

Edit: This happens in 2d and 3d client setups, any shard.

Still having the issue but there seems to be no solution.  Going to abandon this client but before I do I want to thank Tidus for trying to help:  thank you Tidus.

1. Downloaded latest version and unzip everywhere (is buggy but i started using that) http://stealth.od.ua/download/Stealth_v7.9.9.rar
2. Download and install phyton https://www.python.org/downloads/windows/ I'm using 2.7
3. Run stealth and setup your shard (See images below)

gentlemans, i'm not a medium - i can't fix a problem, if i know nothing about it.
If you write here about range errors instead of writing to my skype\icq - error will exist long time.

All errors, which sent to me by EurekaLogs - already checked and fixed. But in some cases i cant set error handlers, and you can see messages like in post before. In case of that - just write to me, give me script - and it will be fixed shortly. All is very easy.
