Color Schemes

So I was playing around with SUO for the first time in awhile and was playing with the color settings. Is there any planned functionality to be able to save/load your color scheme or change the default every time it starts? I can't stand white backgrounds anymore! Too many years of staring at computer screen. I much prefer my black background! hehe

Right now you can save your last one you were playing with.  If you find something you really like, you'll notice a string that prints out in the debug area (now minimized).  Lemme know what that string is and I can add that to the program for you and what you'd like it named.

I'm not sure which of these lines you need, but whatever the "last" set of colors is on this list is the ones I like:
Code: [Select]

You can call it "Maddog Colors" if you want. I attached a picture so you can see what it looks like!

a question for TM: are you planning to introduce a way to save customized "schemes"? actually i prefer to use other fonts and colours, so i have to use ultra-edit for scripting instead of customize suo at every start.

It's alot more possible now.  The main reason I didn't allow for that was my own ignorance at using XML files from .NET.  However a recent project unlocked all that knowledge for me, so it's much easier now to add features that are saved and modified.

At the moment, I'm just waiting to see what happens to EUO.  I haven't felt like supporting a tool for a project that was going to be abandoned.  Once I get a clear indication that things are OK with EUO, I'll probably dust this puppy off again.

BTW, there is a way to force SUO to save your color selections.  I just need to remember how to do that.....
