Does anyone know *why* they don't work together?
Both developers say they *should* work together, I think they should, yet they don't..
-
um wut?

My biggest question to go along with this is why. Stealth does alot by itself. Why not do all you need with stealth rather than try to get them to work together and waste more resources?

I use steam everyday every time unless I am running a specific script. So many built in things, so fast to macro record an action etc etc etc
-
can only quote something from Stealth forum :
if it can't connect to stealth, thats mean:
1) encryption from client removed incorrectly or partially
2) some changes in protocol
really for me absolutely not interesting to test uosteam.

I know steam and i dont want to feel the burn during the learning curve period. But I also have other reasons

The thing is we never officially supported other Subsoftware to Stealth. Razor worked just at it was and that was ok for us but there never was a officially cooperation. Like easyuo, we dont support it officially, only by a few commands via Engine. It works with stealth but never means we will patch stealth in order to get easyuo working.
I know UO-Steam is a great tool, i personally use it for my gaming activities were Stealth doesnt satisfy me yet. But for Scripting and solid macroing its not my thing. The Editor is too small and as IRL Delphi and C# developer its just too simple for me using Stealth.
Also as part of development Team, i support the product we contribute ;)
I cant promise what comes in future, but we always try to make it better and who knows if there will be a chance in future to get it working ...

Scripting, Botting, Macros, Longevity of afking everything in a way that will forever supersede EUO. Stealth is what that's for.
Actually playing UO, aka pvping, PvM, etc by hand, etc. That's what Steam is for.
Stealth isn't to enhance your game play experience and be a meager assistant to how you play, it's meant to allow you to effectively script and perform things in an automated fashion.
I don't know how many times I have to repeat that before it clicks with people.

If you know how to write scripts in stealth, you can pvp on another level. Trust me, you wouldn't want to go back ever.
