Code: [Select]
{Written by dxrom for release on ScriptUO.com

--This script will train Stealing via stealing a stack
of items from your pack horse/llama. By default it is
setup to steal Amber gems, although this can be changed
  within the code below.

  Setup:
Using the graphic client command "info" get the
ID of your packy and set it's value below.
If you want to steal something other than amber
(Bottles, whatevs) then using the same command
get the ItemType of whatever stackable item
you want to steal and input it below, (Array of
items not supported.)

!!THIS SCRIPT IS STILL IN IT'S TESTINF PHASES!!}

I needed a script to train stealing, this is what I threw together in about 5 minutes. I am currently testing it so it could be a work in progress if I need to add things to it, if not then neat. Either way I'll update with a final copy once I test it full to GM.

Games & Game Systems / Diablo 3
« on: March 04, 2014, 12:51:40 AM »
So, a friend of mine got me into playing Diablo 3 with it's new content and such. It seems quite a bit better than it was when I quit originally back after the slew of difficulty nerfs back in 1.0 and whatnot so I've been playing it in my spare time. I was wondering, is anyone else playing it? My buddy and I are looking to put together a full team to gear up and farm with, no bots (bot in your "offline" time). He's a Wizard and I'm a Witch Doctor and we have a monk who plays with us also. We're Paragon mid-30s at the moment (low but we just hit 60 like a day ago) and we play on Hardcore, given that we play on Hardcore we are looking for people who are innovative, understand their class and can think for themselves, who don't need to follow the standard cookie cutter instructions that come pasted on the back of every Blizzard game for their class.

Anyways, hit me up here or in PM, we can exchange infos.

PS: No I don't know of a current good bot. (Try google, or if it still works, ask Crome about D3TNT) Nor do I intend to look for one any time soon as I actually want to enjoy playing the game before I get tired of it :>

Games & Game Systems / Sandbox games.
« on: February 06, 2014, 04:45:04 AM »
Seeing this sub getting a little hot, I figured I would take that opportunity and praise the genre of sandbox mmos and shove EVE Online into all of your pixels :>

Honestly I could write up a wall of text that will put even that great thing of whatever in China to shame regarding this subject and EVE Online, and I was in the process of doing so when I came across a video on the subject that actually sums up most of what my wall of text would consist of.

Here it is:

Now then after that I thought it might be fitting to go into detail what I actually do in EVE Online, which is PvP almost strictly. In more detail however, I run in one of the most well known and notable Alliances within the game itself, we're not known as one of the super alliances infact we're one of the smaller ones and we specialize specifically in guerrilla type warfare (with a very high rate of success) as well as capital/super-capital ganking and in general are known as a group of player who often fight far outnumbered. When I say smaller alliance, you have to keep in mind that when we form for CTA (Call to arms) in the USTZ (Our main timezone, however we also operate in EUTZ, AUTZ and even RUSTZ) we get anywhere from 90-200 people, individual people, from our alliance for these. Again I point out "SMALLER ALLIANCE" as we have fought with ~240 people against upwards of ~900 people on not-so-rare basis. I am in the alliance Black Legion.

This name may mean nothing to you if you don't actually play the game, as I said we're not a super alliance, and even if you don't play the game you are probably familiar with names like Pandemic Legion,  Goonswarm Federation, Razor Alliance, and TEST Alliance (IE: Super Alliances) However you might be familiar with some of our exploits like http://massively.joystiq.com/2013/07/08/ship-destroyed-in-eve-online-worth-approximately-8-000/ and the role we've played in multiple high escalation super-capital fights. Hell, you might even be familiar with our epic failure and losing 30 super-capitals which you can see here:

or even just all out brawling capitals with a super alliance (Razor Alliance)

One thing I can say is, there are some things that are truly great and reach such epic place in this world when it comes to gaming, and with my alliance I got to be a part of that just last week in the battle of B-R5RB.
http://evenews24.com/2014/01/29/dev-blog-the-bloodbath-of-b-r5rb-gamings-most-destructive-battle-ever/

The week before this as well yielded a high escalation super-capital fight (albeit not as large as the one above) but again, my alliance was a part of that as well, yet again as a contributing force. (Unfortunately my internet was out for this one).

Anyways, that's all I have to say about the subject for now. It's late after all! However if you would like to look at more pvp videos from my alliance's point of view (recorded by our people) you can check out these channels:

https://www.youtube.com/user/JoachimWeissEve/videos
https://www.youtube.com/user/billyjoel22359/videos
https://www.youtube.com/user/xidjazulix/videos

Also, how could I forget the single most controversial fleet doctrine that we created which shook the ground of every super/mega alliance in eve and forced them to change the way they fight. The Doomcat/Doom Portal doctrine.

Also some actual footage from the B-R5RB fight:

General UO Chat / Buying some things on ATL or Baja
« on: December 11, 2013, 01:49:02 PM »
Looking to buy either a Necro/SS or Taming/Lore Mark of Travesty on either Baja or Atl. I know there is a Taming/Lore one sitting on Atl for 60m, but it's been sitting there for over a year and I sure as hell wont be the one to cave in and grossly over spend on it :P

Anyways, trade can happen either in person or via vendor. Whichever you're most comfortable doing. We can negotiate prices either here or via PM or ICQ. I'm looking to spend 15m if it's a necro/ss mark or up to 35m for taming/lore, these are what I have seen are going rates for masks that actually sell with these skills (Again, I point out that the single taming/lore mask on Atl has been there for over a year now). Don't like the prices? Then let's negotiate :>

[tinfoil]Note to you EA/Mythic spies (Yes, we know you're out there): Any in-person trades made from me will be done so via a trusted and reputable third party, for my safety. (If I don't know well here or you're not trusted.. IE: Joe who registered 3 years ago with 2 posts today) Anybody I trust to act on my behalf as a third party will have no knowledge that this trade was made on these forums, for your safety.[/tinfoil]

@TM: We should get a trade section going.

World of Warcraft / Getting back into WoW Temporarily.
« on: December 09, 2013, 02:18:33 AM »
So my parents (who play WoW) have recently offered to pay my subscription to WoW as a means of sort of renting my tanking abilities. They want to 3man normal dragon soul (Two rogues, me as blood dk). This is one of those situations I look back and laugh on though, being someone who progressed through what was the pitiful excuse of a raid encounter called Dragon Soul on a world scale (Not going to throw any names out there, but if you know where to look, check out the guild who got the fifth madness kill on hardmode 10man in the world. You'll see my dk there), that the content content which was so long awaited and so very short lived, that it's as simple as farming without a healer these days. I cannot help but think back on my decision to stop playing WoW in response to the undesirablely stale direction in which the game was moving. Although at least I'll get a chance to work on my Windseeker legendary and a few other legendaries while I'm back for a month.

I dunno if it's just me or what, but history channel has been pumping out some pretty awesome shows lately. My personal favorite as of late, which I am eagerly waiting for S2 to start, is Vikings.

If you haven't seen it, I highly suggest checking out season 1.

Oven Baked Chicken Breast stuffed with Goat Cheese accented with a Lemon Butter Sauce

    Ingredients
    • Two boneless and skinless chicken breasts, approx 1/2 pound each
    • Half a stick of butter
    • Quarter cup dry white wine
    • One and a half tablespoons of minced garlic (freshly minced cloves perferred)
    • Black Pepper
    • Olive Oil
    • Sea Salt
    • Two teaspoons fresh squeezed lemon juice
    • Two teaspoons Thyme
    • Two teaspoons Oregano
    • Slices of Lemon (sectional, not wedges)
    • Goat Cheese (however much your breasts look like they can sustain)
    Directions

First preheat your oven to 375 degrees.  Now we will prepare our chicken breasts.  On the thicker edge of each chicken breast side, we want to cut a slit into the meat.  This will act as a pocket for our goatcheese.  Stuff the cheese into this pocket and don't be afraid to overstuff a bit, as it mixes really well with the sauce.  Now baste our breasts in olive oil and add Sea Salt and Pepper.  I personally like to knead in the sea salt but you don't have to.

For our sauce, turn on the stove to a low setting, and then with a small saucepan melt your butter.  Be very careful not to burn your butter.   We simply want to heat it.  Once we have melted the butter we will add the fresh garlic.  Again make sure you are using a low heat.  We want to make the garlic tender and allow it to start releasing flavor.  This should take about a minute, minute and a half.  Stir as necessary to ensure the butter/garlic doesn't start to brown.  After a minute and a half, remove it from the heat and stir in your white wine, Oregano, Thyme, and Lemon Juice.

Now place our two chicken breasts into a glass baking dish.  Place the lemon wheels under the breasts (so they cook on top of them) and pour our lemon butter sauce over the chicken.  Ensure that there is a fair amount of garlic under the chicken breasts as well as on top.

Now cook at 375 for 40 minutes.  Check to ensure the breasts are cooked by cutting one slightly so we can check that the meat is fully white (we don't want the meat to be pink.)  Take them out of the oven and put a tinfoil wrap over the glassware for 10 minutes before serving.  Pour the remaining sauce out of the glassware and over the breasts and enjoy !!

I tend to increase the amount of sauce I make (and bump up the amount needed for the ingredients) because I like to also put that lemon butter sauce over rice.  You can do it however you want.  Here is the original source for this recipe, so if you find yourself in a bind you can watch her explain it all on youtube.

Add the Cheddar Cheese Soup, butter and 2 cups of the half-and-half to the large bowl of eggs. Add the warm macaroni tossing until the cheese has melted and the mixture is smooth. Add the remaining half-and-half, 1 Cup sharp yellow Cheddar, the remaining grated cheeses, and salt and pepper, tossing until completely combined in the large bowl.

Pour the mixture into 9 by 13-inch casserole or baking dishes (approximately 3 (3-quart) baking dishes) and bake for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with the remaining 1 cup of sharp yellow cheese and bake until golden brown on top, about 30 minutes more.

Treasure Hunting / How is TMapping these days
    « on: December 09, 2013, 01:36:20 AM »
I haven't really looked at TMapping since AoS came out, but I guess they randomized the chest spawn locations, rendering tmap libraries useless. What's it like figuring out where the maps are nowadays?

Firefly/Serenity / Firefly picked back up as comic
    « on: December 09, 2013, 01:06:51 AM »
I guess the story continues but as a comic? Personally I think it's a shame but then again getting the original actors back together after this time and sticking to story is probably much harder.

I got to talking with a friend about decent stouts and this popped up, it's a regular of mine that I stumbled across in a small liquor store about 2 years ago. The other night my friend tossed me this link http://beeradvocate.com/beer/style/69 and I guess I'm not the only one who likes it!
