Hello Prospective new members.
A LOT of people have worked very hard to make this site what it is. Hours and Hours and Hours have gone into the site, and all the scripts, and information there is here. LOTS of effort by a LOT of people! ....and guess what?!?! They are willing to give you access to about 90% of the stuff here for FREE!! That's right....FREE. Almost all of thier hard work is just sitting there waiting for you to come along and use it. Some of the best and most powerful scripts in the game.....FREE.
What do they ask in return for giving you 90% access on day one???
A INTRODUCTION!!!
That's right, just an introduction! (in its own thread , new topic)
If everybody here can put in the hours of EFFORT to make this site, and everything that there is on it..and GIVE it to you for FREE........
WHY can't you put in some EFFORT to make a GOOD introduction?!?!?!
I just don't think a one liner "Hi my name is joey...I play UO....can I have some free stuff now" is going to get you very far...and it shouldn't!!!
Come on people....use some EFFORT when you write your introduction. Tell us about yourself. How long have you been playing UO?, what shard do you play on?, what kind of chars do you like to play most?, what/ who brought you here?, what are your wife/girlfriends measurements?, (OK you don't hafta do that one!) ...but be a little creative, tell us something..give us more then a one liner!! Give us some EFFORT!!
That's all it takes to get access to 90% of everything that there is here!
After you get access...what then...How about sticking around, start or join in some posts, become part of the GREAT community that there is here. People that are willing to help, and answer any questions you might have, people that are great fun to talk to, this is a GREAT place to hang out and chat, get to know people, LEARN from people...so take your hat off and stay awhile!
If you made some EFFORT to introduce yourself..then welcome to the community...if you didn't...then dont let the door hit ya on the way out!!!

We'll be sticking a few GREAT! and good new member introductions for everyone to look at. There seems to be periods where new members see the last few lame introductions and follow suit with their own less-than-stellar entry. Hopefully with some good examples posted at the top, people will get it right the first time.

Even though its obvious from our view point I editted toptwos post above to include the words (in its own thread , new topic) just so its 100% clear to potential new members.
