Hello,

I'm one of those older gamers who started playing UO when it was first released.  Since then I've played most of the big name MMORPG titles at one point or another, but UO has always held a special place for me.  I enjoy the diversity of the game as well as the ability to execute scripts with it.  I find something oddly appealing about executing a script and watching it control my character like a marionette.

I've programmed in other languages like SQL, Perl, and even a little Java before and I wanted to move past just editing others scripts to get them to work for me, to writing my own scripts which is ultimately what lead me here.  I was searching for a more robust script editor and I think I've found it with ScriptUO.  I look forward to using it, and if my introduction is adequate, learning the subtleties of scripting with this language from all of the accomplished script developers here.
