General UO Chat / Re: First clean armor piece!

I would have no idea...I sell similar pieces that don't have any of those bonuses in resists for about 3-7 mil (cold eater is one of the lesser desired eaters) but tack on the extra 40+ points of resists and you'd probably be talking something 10X that

Sounds great! If you do start to tweak, post your tweaks here and we can review them to help out. Also, if other people need the same tweaks, they can use them from here as well!

Great job on the script.  I have started playing on a freeshard (UOForever) that has a window pop up that asks if I want to release the pet.  How do i go about editing this so that it clicks the yes so I can release the pet before I kill it?  Its causing me to turn grey.  Thanks for any help!!

I'd try bodfather's suggestion first, but if not, you just need to look for the exevent for renaming and releasing. You'd just need to add in a WaitForGump subroutine (I believe there are a few in the snippets section of this site) and then a click x y. Might be  a great place to start learning how to tweak scripts!

#1. I assume you get that buff in your buffbar and aren't required to wear anything special to get it?
#2. Does it allow you to go overcap, such as 3/6 casting for mages, 20HPR, etc

I can see FC1 as the most important one simply because mages can roll with a -1 weapon that has extra properties on it. Or make it alot easier on 4/6 chars!

I believe it's my script. I have a newer version nearly ready to upload. I will update it this coming week. I believe it may have to do with not recognizing certain (de)buffs combined with some bad logic somewhere. If anyone else is having issues with a script that uses this, let me know so I don't beat my head against a wall!

Thanks!

I updated my post above with the correct url/port for EA shards. Make sure you're running as administrator when you use it. I had a guildmate who tried to use it without RAA and it crashed a couple times on him before he realized he forgot that part.

For EA shards I have the following:

[X] Remove Encryption
[_] Remove stamina check

[_] Automatically connection
[X] Encryption required

Shard: login.ultimaonline.com
Port: 7775

Works beautifully!

I know these are absurd, but I'd love to see this:
A "Spawning" tab with the following options:
- Bone Cutter (separate from a "cutting agent")
- Auto-attack (can choose Hostiles/Mobiles/etc) (can choose Closest/Next/etc) (can set delay)

I haven't had any more time to play with my Raspberry Pi (since we're getting ready to close on a house), but I have also had issues with the 1080P streaming...one day they'll get it worked out!

Features I'm Loving So Far:

General Tab
Filters: I use Light, Music, Seasons, Weather, Veteran Rewards (same as Razor / UOA, though UOA doesn't have Light)
Linked Profiles: Can link same profile to multiple chars (combines best of Razor (profiles across many chars) and UOA (profile loads automatically for each char))

Options Tab
General Tab:
Remove spell field animations: Makes fields static (though not square tiles unfortunately) and wall into half-walls
Open Doors: Same as Razor
Bone Cutter: Haven't tried it yet, but if it works as smoothly as my EUO script, then that will ROCK! (just have to set a blade)
Combat Tab:
Spell Words: A must-have for me, though I haven't checked to see if it recognizes Mystic spells since Razor was lacking that
Health above people and creatures: Same as Razor
Flags above people and creatures: Have only seen it a little bit, but has great potential to be beneficial in PvP
Friends Tab:
Healing->Enabled->Self: Having mixed results (using OSI dex formula delay) where sometimes it attempts to re-bandage too soon. Perhaps it could be improved to look at buffbar instead of trying to do the formula? But if working fully, I won't have to worry about it in my Automator script!
Title Bar:
More flexibility than UOA in customizing, plus it uses icons of items like Razor!
Spell Grid:
Pardon my french, but this is *bleep* EPIC! I'm willing to risk a cursing warning from TM just to show how much I love this!!!! Yes it is that good! I use my numpad and G-keys (Logitech G15) for my main macros, so I always used to lay out my spells on the screen as if it were my numpad (in a nice little box) and in 3 sets of 3x2 grids for the G-keys. Now I can do it for any character SUPER QUICK and also not have to worry about accidentally closing my spells. I feel like my UO desktop is about to get much cleaner!

Hotkeys Tab
Super simple and quicker to drilldown through than Razor in my opinion.

Agents Tab
Autoloot Tab:
Another epic utility! I haven't gotten TOO much time to play around with it, but it opens the corpses SUPER quick and should allow me to loot in PvP much better! I love the option to Disable inside guards zone too!
Counter Tab:
Can use this to count just about anything you might carry on you (used to set up custom title bar)
Dress Tab:
Still getting used to this, but it combines weapon-equipping with armor-equipping. Still need to figure out how to do my weapon swaps with this, but I'll figure it out this evening!

I know that's a lot of comments, but basically it boils down to:
- Spell Grid!
- Autoloot!
- Linked profiles!
- Bandaging (when functioning properly)

So I'm running the latest build (v1.0.7 RC7 Build 2) on OSI shards and LOVING IT! I may finally walk away from UOAssist! I've used Razor in the past and it's just a pain in the butt most times. This runs soooo much smoother with much better, cleaner, easier, options!

50% Enhance potions or is it a Mystic Mage?   That's a nice setup for a non-focused Mage though, gives me something to aim form.   I was looking to build that pretty much but with the CF for a Focused Mage w/ 50^ EP setup.

That suit is currently is being used on a Mystic Mage (120 mage/med/eval/resist/mystic/focus) and does have 25 EP on the ring (I forgot to mention it in my original post).

@ Maddog...    That's rocking something in both hands isn't it?   If not what are your resists bc that's pretty nice.   I'd presonally drop the eaters other than Damage eater all & add in CF, bc imo offense ALWAYS has a use where Defense doesn't.   I cannot imagine how many times a 17% chance to cast through the dexxer hit lets me pull off an EXP, Ebolt <EBOLT> when they'd expect me to fizzle etc.

That is with just a -15mage weapon bokuto. Nothing in my off-hand so I can chug. My resists are 71/71/70/66/71. And I actually swapped out a piece to make it 15% Damage Eater (previously 12) and am closing to making it 30 Fire Eater. I also have 4% casting focus right now, might be able to squeeze a little more in!

When I'm making a mage suit, here are my standards:

100% LRC
40% LMC
2/6 faster casting/faster cast recovery
15+ MR (18+ preferred)
15 SDI (or 30 if pure mage)
45+ DCI

Those are my must haves! In terms of desireables, I have recently been putting HP regen and eaters on my suit. My latest mage suit is as follows:

100 LRC
40 LMC
2/6 casting
18 MR
18 HPR
15 SDI
50 DCI
27 Fire Eater
26 Energy Eater
12 Damage Eater
20 HP Increase
8 Mana Increase (piece just happened to have that)

I am working on swapping 2 pieces out of the suit so i'll have 30 Fire Eater and 15 Damage Eater and potentially 25 HP Increase (which is the cap). But this is a 50+ mil suit that is SICK!
