Ya, this does happen.  One of my peeves is spamming in order to get access.  I generally keep a watchful eye on the board and when I notice a spamming incident in progress, I'll watch the post quality, quantity and finally if you immediately goto the script download section for the heartwood quester.  Do yourself a favor and DON'T spam the board for access.  You don't want to have the "Leecher" title.  :)

I just joined today and have been posting while at work today mainly because I'm excited to be on any active UO forum. Though the scripts  look tempting and make it hard to not want to post 5 and download. I do however understand your peeve and will wait a few days and hang out so I dont get banned :P

People on the web these days are SOOOO used to getting everything for free without regard for the actual time and effort involved in producing items like this, so I get kinda irked with that.

Over at Winuo I delete those posts on site!!!  I recently deleted a new member post that said...  "I need heartwood script"

That was one of the crappiest posts I had seen in a long time.
