this rocks, works right out of the box, and is easy to set up.. thanks for your time and effort...

But, Can you add in grape vines? there are 2 kinds, with 3 pieces in each kind, 2 end pieces, and then a center piece.. they are found in Sunken treasure chests.. let me know if you need item ID's..

again, this is great...

while this script holds promise, its not working as advertized...

after the setup finishes, it recalls to ter mur next to the suest giver, and stops there.. it will not get the quest unless i click on the quest giver myself, then it will accept the quest, and then mark the quest item. at that point the target cursor is still there, I have to press esc. and then click on the quest giver to finish the quest.

soo, im wondering do i have to turn off do not move cursor? or might there be something else wrong?

thanks

I have been away from UO for about 6 months now, And I still have me a box on my front porch, I use it to keep all the tools I need to work on my landscaping. Odd thing is, I have like 4 pair of branch trimmers, 2 hammers, 3 saws, 2 hatchets, and like 6+ screwdrivers, Just in case one of them breaks. Not to mention the bunch of hose washers, extra screws and fencing staples.

My son thinks its a gas, he says, Just like the container on the steps of your UO House huh dad?

I just tell him....
Well, it works doesn't it.... At least I'm not trying to stack a few hundred thousand boards and logs in it......

 :D

Well I have been away for awhile, But decided to jump back in for a few tonight to see how things where going on in the world of UO, and ScriptUO...

No, I'm not back in the game as of yet, as I got me a promotion and am now managing the deli at the store I work at. So my time is even more limited that it was before....sheesh...

So Until school gets back into session and I have a few hours kid free again, My time is not really my own...
But its good to be able to come back and just say hiya s once in awhile...

Oh, and my new computer is a real blast... :)

Off Topic / Customer Support
« on: January 14, 2009, 10:36:08 PM »
Actual dialogue of a former WordPerfect Customer Support employee.
(Now I  know why they record these conversations!):

Operator:         'Ridge Hall, computer assistance; may I help you?'
Caller:   ;           'Yes, well, I'm having trouble with WordPerfect.'
Operator:         'What sort of trouble??'
Caller:              'Well, I was just typing along, and all of a sudden the words went away.'
Operator:         'Went away?'
Caller:              'They disappeared'
Operator:         'Hmm. So what does your screen look like now?'
Ca ller:               'Nothing.'
Operator:         'Nothing??'
Caller:              'It's blank; it won't accept anything when I type.'
Operator:        'Are you still in WordPerfect, or did you get out??'
Caller:              'How do I tell?'
Operator:        'Can you see the 'C: prompt' on the screen??'
Caller:              'What's a sea-prompt?'
Operator:         'Never mind, can you move your cursor around the screen?'
Caller:              'There isn't any cursor; I told you, it won't accept a nothing I type.'
Operator:         'Does your monitor have a power  indicator??'
Caller:              'What's a monitor?'
Operator:         'It's the thing with the screen on it that looks like a TV. Does it have a little light that tells you when it's on??'
Caller:               'I don't know.'
Operator:          'Well, then look on the back of the monitor and find where the power cord goes into it. Can you see that??'
Caller:              'Yes, I think so.'
Operator:         'Great. Follow the cord to the plug, and tell me if it's plugged into the wall.
Caller:           'Yes, it is.'
Operator:         'When you were behind the monitor, did you notice that there were two cables plugged into the back of it, not just one??'
Caller:               'No.'
Operator:          'Well, there are. I need you to look back there again and find the other cable.'
Caller:               'Okay, here it is.'
Operator:          'Follow it for me, and tell me if it's plugged securely into the back of your computer.'
Caller:               'I can't reach.'
Operator:          'OK. Well, can you see if it is??'
Caller:               'No.'
Operator:          'Even if you maybe put your knee on something and lean way over??'
Caller:               'Well, it's not because I don't have the right angle -- it's because it's dark.'
Operator:          'Dark??'
Caller:               'Yes - the office light is off, and the only light I have is coming in from the window.'
Operator:           'Well, turn on the office light then.'
Caller:               'I can't.'
Operator:          'No? Why not??'
Caller:             'Because there's a power failure.'
Operator:           'A power .... A power failure?  Aha. Okay, we've got it licked now. Do you still have the boxes and manuals and packing stuff that your computer cam e in??'
Caller:               'Well, yes, I keep them in the closet.'
Operator:           'Good. Go get them, and unplug your system and pack it up just like it was when you got it. Then take it back to the store you bought it from.'
Caller:                'Really? Is it that bad?'
Operator:           'Yes, I'm afraid it  is.'
Caller:                'Well, all right then, I suppose. What do I tell them??'
Operator:           'Tell them you're too stupid to own a computer.

I sure hope that it gets me through awhile, I don't usually upgrade too often. Usually about every 3 - 4 years or so...

From what i have been reading, is that It comes up open where I can OC it pretty easily, and the case is one of its coolest(Speaking fans here).. We will see, still allot of research to do, and I have plenty of time, It wont get to me until the 12th - 13th of January..

But I will be able to play my Christmas present when it gets here.. GTA IV, the computer I have now will let it start, But not let it play... ugh....

General UO Chat / Re: Looking for the stump hack
« on: December 23, 2008, 05:43:32 AM »
I remember a long time ago(im thinking like 5 years or so) I quit OSI, and started playing a freeshard, it was running sphere, and was quite amusing, and alot of fun.. Well, I was made a GM, as I liked to mess with Worldbuilder, and made 3 new towns, and an island..

Anyway, the shard didn't last very long, as it was impossible to get the .mul file spread around, it was like 12 meg, and on a dial up it took like 3 to 4 hours to transfer, and at the time, not to many people had anything better than a 56k.

When I went back to OSI, I took my mul file and did a world wipe, it was funny as hell, trying to run around on the public servers, as I could not see any trees, or buildings, Only the floor tiles.

I tried to set up an area for lumber jacking, and mining also, only to find out that just because I could see it, didn't mean that the game servers could...

I haven't tried this hack yet, Might have to just to play around, as I'm getting bored with the game again...
:)
