I know the The Call of Ktulu off Metallica's Ride The Lightning Album. It's Eerie in the beginning with a beautiful melody, but a great metal instrumental. Now I want to go hear it. :o

But no doubt Metallica got their inspiration from reading some of H.P Lovecraft.
