And then they made part 2....

I coulndt even sit though part one on dvd .. had to fast forward that thing until it was literally a 8min drawn out experience for me.

ohh you have no idea. It's dead quiet in the theater, because it's the dramatic scene when they are standing in the top of a tree looking at a river and you hear TT shout, not say, shout, "there's no place like that around Forks!"

I've read some interviews and the stars of the Twilight movies find their fans' behavior extremely distasteful. At least one of them signed on for a paycheck not realizing the popularity of the books or the insanity of the fanbase.

I listened to the series on audiobook so I could see what was so horrible about them (I like to listen to audiobooks while I craft IRL style) and found them to be no more remarkable then any other poorly written romance novel. It's basically emotional pornography for women.   

Book 4 might be interesting to see on film, but only because that's when things start to get a little weird even for crappy fantasy romantic fiction.
