He visits places where people have been surviving using old methods for ages... he's trying to learn from them before the cultures are lost.

Survivorman was a great show!  Cerveza turned me onto it and I couldn't stop watching it.  On the flip side, that dude in Man vs. Wild drove me nuts since that was obviously staged.

He doesn't look like he should be named Bear.  Something more fitting might be Cedric.  Lol.

Chev... Chev Grylls... Man VS Saffron

Dual Survival is kinda cool, they don't even begin to state that they are alone... they just show how to get by in different conditions. They couldn't have picked two more opposite people. Hippy barefoot dude and hardcore military jungle rat.

The husband and wife survival thing... I didn't care much for it... it's like the same exact show every time, just in a different location. I've only seen a few of them though, so I'll probably watch a few more before I decide if it's worth my time.

Les is the King.

ROFL Man vs Saffron!! Love it! He should have been called Widdle Teddy Bear instead of just Bear

Dual survival isn't too bad, still feels staged a lot but I like the duality between the guys, makes for some reasonable comedy.

Husband + wife survival = husband full, where'd the wife go?
