Stealth scripts / Re: [V6, C#] Egg Farmer - v2.0.0.3 (stable)
« on: September 15, 2015, 01:02:22 PM »
It's not easy trying to fix something that works for a few users and doesn't for others.  "It's not working" isn't helpful either but I understand that there is no other information that can be given to me.

It's just going to take time to identify the problem and I'm extremely busy with real life problems at the moment.

So with that being said, I'm taking the download link back down until I can actually really look at this project.

Oh no Uni!  I hope I didn't influence your decision to take it down again!  :'(  I was going to fix the registry issue today and give it another whirl.  Good luck with all your RL stuff and hopefully we'll get access to it again.

Yes I removed it using control panel and using that site you linked gives me the error window that says "Application cannot be started.  Contact the application vendor."  There is a details button that gives this info:

I downloaded the .net framework but when I click the "launch" link to DL your newest version I get this... http://snag.gy/9097V.jpg
I had your version before this and it was working fine a few days ago.  Since yesterday or the day before it would run one cycle then stop and display 3 "complete" windows and  I would have to manually restart the script.  This wasnt the case before.  I uninstalled it hoping to get the newest version but that's where I'm stuck.  I hope you can help me!  I only used this for about a week or more and I miss it already.  Thanks!

There's nothing worse than having working software that, one day, decides to stop working for whatever reason :(  sorry!

Control  Panel -> Add/Remove Program, Remove EggFarmer.

If you are sure that:
  • Your framework is not corrupt - did you recently install a new version?
  • In Internet Explorer, there is a security setting: Open files based on content, not file extension.  This should be turned off.
  • Anti-Virus is not removing the program.  Be sure to check your security history.

...then reinstall @ download link and let me know if you're getting the same thing

I got the framework again by going to microsoft's site, and after the install and restart I got the same screen when using the "install" button.  I went to the site I downloaded from the first time and got a "setup" file.  When running that I got this error:  http://snag.gy/6COIX.jpg I dont use IE I use Chrome, and currently I'm not running an anti-virus.  I also got the latest Stealth client v.6. but I'm not having any luck reinstalling your program =[.

you play on EA?
login.ultimaonline.com is IP and port is 7775 or 7776;)

Here's a screen shot with the Stealth setup windows open.  Notice the login error at the bottom right on Stealth.  I feel like this is much simpler and I'm making it too complex.  Thanks for all the help

You could download this : http://sourceforge.net/projects/scriptsdk/files/Releases%20%5BAlpha%5D/
It not only include the Stealth Client, also the latest API-DLL´s you may need.

Thank you!  That's very helpful, but I'm having trouble even setting it up.  I feel overwhelmed by this.  I'm ready to go back to using UOLoop until I can get and EasyUO update!  :'(  Stealth gives a nice "how to" http://stealth.od.ua/Doc:Manual/Installing_Stealth but it leaves out where to get all this data.  They make it so generic like everyone except me already knows this stuff! So I make an attempt to educate myself through google, and I believe I'm finding only parts of what I need:

http://stratics.com/threads/shard-ip-addresses.249180/
http://uo.stratics.com/content/misc/servip.shtml
http://uo2.stratics.com/technical-information/server-ip-addresses/

Reading all of that; I either A) Don't have all the information needed for OSI setup or B) Don't understand where to plug in what.

Hi Dread385,

Unisharp did the job on "stealth" http://www.scriptuo.com/index.php?topic=13165.0

So I looked into this link but I don't see where to DL the file.  I was going to DL Stealth but not sure which version I will need.

Thank you!  Can I use this with the new OSI patch or will I need to wait for a "Stealth" update?

Does anyone know of anymore scripts they could share to help gather peerless keys?  I use TM's autolooter http://www.easyuo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=49173&start=45 for the crystals in Prism.

Hi everyone!

So... I've been working 2nd shift this week and there isn't a lot going on late / early in the morn in UO.  I decided to get some Medusa eggs and after about two hours I had 5 sets.  We all know how tedious this is so I looked up a script to use.  I came up with this old one:  http://www.scriptuo.com/index.php?topic=4883.0  From the looks of it it's not functioning anymore.  Does anyone know of any good scripts for Medusa eggs?  Preferably one that works with a stealther / flute?

While I'm waiting for the new EUO patch I will do some reading and try to learn to make something myself.  Maybe it won't be so bad to make something simple that maybe could use a flute on a snake and target a hole while I manually stealth around?

OpenEUO Scripts / Re: Kali's Bod Sorter for openEUO
« on: August 21, 2015, 11:44:08 AM »
If the results are all the same (and it looks like it would be) - I think that time could be better spent adding those valuable updates you talked about that make the whole script that much more hands off.  At the end of the day the less the user has to setup, the less problems can occur.  A  good example of this is Guadah's Multiskill Trainer. (http://www.scriptuo.com/index.php?topic=8208.msg70597#msg70597)  With that I just open it up and grab the required resources, pick a skill, and hit start.  While it's a different beast... you get my point.

Well, I can't comment for the accuracy of ghosts index.  Mine was based on the tower of roses table here:
http://tor.bplaced.net/bods-srw.htm

If you look at for instance, small valorite bods, 10/15 sized ones, you have a 40% chance at a dull hammer and 60% chance for a shadow hammer.  In these situations it might not yield what you want/expect.

With that being said, yes, I am working on swapping my bods today and will sort my next batch.  When I do, I'll try to hunt down my bugs in my next bod sorter version, which I've worked out some of the kinks already.  In this version, it will grab an empty bod book and rename it for you!  No more stopping because it can't find your bod book :D

That's probably all it was.  I wasn't thinking about the fact that I got the most probable reward out of the BOD I was turning in.  I did 6 of the BODs from Shadow Runic and all came out dull copper but that could have just been a coincidence.  I'm not a smart man when it comes to anything BOD related.  That's why these BOD scripts are a life saver for me and I really appreciate all the help I'm receiving!  Please keep me posted on your update.  I'm already amazed at how great this currently works I can't wait to see how much better it can get!

Hi Hi,

What were the bods that didn't get placed in a book?  That is strange, I didn't have this problem, but who knows with the different index.  Even in that case, it should havqe errored with a 'table index is nil' message if it couldn't find a book for it.  Also, when it does 'stop', if it prints anything, please let me know and it can help me track down what is happening.

I didn't know what I was looking for but I looked at the script and noticed an error at the bottom stating Verite Runic not available or something similar to that.  That being the case I looked back through my books and noticed there was no book named that.  I renamed a blank one and put it in place.  That fixed that problem, and it flowed flawlessly after that.

I commented on Ghost's thread down from this one about the rewards not matching to what the book states.  So far 30 ASH ' = 105 PS, and Shadow Runic = Dull copper hammer.  Have you experienced this or is it something I did wrong in setting it up?

Dread , I`m still trying to come up with a chart to BoD to bride to get reward, I had started and never finish it.   I was thinking of Bribe one,  Bribe twice and Bribe tree time.

That'd be awesome!  Please keep me in the loop when you get it finished up if you don't mind sharing.  As I am using it I'm keeping notes on anything out of character.  I was too excited about using it and working out what ever issues I caused by improper set up or what not to take notes before.  I'm at work now, but when I get home and work through more I will share that info.  Earlier today I filled a bod that was marked as 30 ASH ' and got a 105 PS.  Then I did bods marked as Shadow Runic and got Dull Copper hammers as the reward.  I'll go through some more later, but is this a set up issue on my end or something more?

Alright! Time for the update!  I added the "scripts" folder in oEUO and it worked with no problem.  I added Ghost's index and renamed my books so I could get some of the other rewards I wanted.  This thing flew through the BODs like crazy!  It stopped a few times but reading the bottom of the script told me what books I needed to name in order to place rewards.

I wouldn't have been able to do this without your script... Thank you very much to both you and Ghost!  If you have any idea what would cause it to hang up please let me know, but even as is I will continue to use it!

Now that that's complete... which BOD filler should I go with?

General UO Chat / Whats your best farming spot?
« on: August 20, 2015, 01:43:01 PM »
Hey everyone!  I am looking for some fun and as always... profitable spots to farm at.  I have most recently been using my Samp to collect crystals to make and sell Gorgon Lenses.  I've also put some time in collecting Shame crystals killing Wind Eles with my mystic mage with the intent to do the bosses to get and sell whetstones.  If you don't mind sharing - What are some of your favorite and most profitable spots to farm and what toons work best for it?  Especially spots with Legendary arties!  ;)
