I dunno, I'm forced to listen to everything you post to make sure it's "clean". From my inventory:
1. Guns *check*, could be penis - double entendre implied
2. Hoes *check*, apparently nekkid or just getting off the pot after a bad breakfast burrito.
3. Biotches (see 2)
Here's a challenge:
Find a mainstream song (whatever that crap is called you listen to) that doesn't have references to:
1) Guns
2) Hoes
3) Biotches
4) "The Hood"
5) Drugs or alcohol.
6) Can be listened to without sagged pants or oversized timeclock necklaces. (yes yes, that's too old...)
Gold star if you can. ;)

Ya they actually have some good stuff and are different from your everyday stuff. I got turned on to them being a big Corey Taylor fan. His range in music is from one side of the spectrum to the other. The Apocalyptica video above and the attached are all the same singer! Hard not to like him :)

I could post tons more songs, but some have cuss words and apparently that harms the children that use this site.
Anyways, it's not good to lump a whole genre into one generalized idea.

Common - "Faithful" -- Not sure if it's Hoes or Biotches, but bonus for the chipmunk chorus. heh

Ok, so of the list you posted I can only see one that even tried to transcend the general stereotypical genre. There's nothing wrong with the musical style, I just don't understand how they can keep flogging that same stereotype. But you found one so I suppose they exist. All hail Wax and enjoy your gold star!! It's a catchy tune.

and you're kinda wrong on most of your observations, makes me think you didn't really pay attention to the songs at all ???
Also, it's hard to find a song made by a black person that doesn't mention the "n word" - i shouldn't get deducted for that :P

I stand by my analysis, especially since I sat and listened to each one of those horrible songs in their entirety!! I did it for you, kinda like taking a bullet. After those, I wish I had taken an enema...
Anyhow, biotches are biotches and they be crazy! (and intentionally addressing a large number of songs in that genre - I know how to pad my success... hehe You just took the bait. muhaha.)
I guess you are kinda missing my point of the exercise. What of those songs (except for the Wax one) actually tried to break out of the same old tired prototypical stereotype? n-word dis, biotches dat, and some for the homies.
But like I said, you won. You actually found something that met the criterion. So revel in your achievement; I didn't think it was possible in that particular genre. :)
