My Windows 7 is acting like a Twilight Zone movie

Alright this has only started happening over the 2-3 days. I did a system restore to some time last week and also did complete virus and spyware scans. All the scans came back with no infections.

This is what my comp is doing:

Any time I play a game (only happens when I'm playing UO or TF2) random keyboard keys will stop working. Upon restart they start working again, and the next time I launch a game a different set of keys will stop working. It's weird.

Also, my system volume keeps getting reset to 0%.

Twilight zone?!?!?!

are they truly random keys that stop working? name a few specific ones!
There are 10 kinds of people in this world: those that understand binary and those that don't!

Windows:  A 64-bit tweak of a 32-bit extension to a 16-bit user interface for an 8-bit operating system based on a 4-bit architecture from a 2-bit company that can't stand 1 bit of competition!

If at first you don't succeed, try try again. Then give up. There is no use in making a fool of yourself.

Let me recount the events that occured.

Phase 1:

Load TF2.
F and W key stopped working.

Restart comp they start working again.

Phase 2:

Load UO.
E and F4 key stop working.
Restart and they start working again.

Phase 3:

Load TF2
Q and G key stop working.
Restart and they start working again.

It's odd. I don't know how to explain it. I tried a system restore, I made sure drivers were up to date.

I have had my g15 with certain keys stop working.  At 1st I just rebooted and this fixed the problem, but later decided I would dig deeper.  So I have teh same problem again I turn off the G15 loader program and the restart it and this fixed the program, so from this expierence I would say you have a program that conflicting with the keyboard driver possibly. Do you have keyboard mapping program loaded for you keyboard by chance?
