Im so confused. Why would another script be able to rename the runes and then drop the rune in the right blank runebooks.   how can i delete the line to check if its properly renamed.

Scripting Chat / Script Request - Runebook Copier - $10 donation
« on: July 17, 2013, 11:58:58 AM »
Not sure where to put this. I am looking for a scirpt to copy runebooks, i want to be able to edit the script when i want to rename the runes. I dont think my server can have the feature for scripts to read the runebook im copying so ill need to be able to edit the script when i want to copy different books.  I want the script to be able to recall to my house to drop off finished runebooks, and pick up new empty runebooks when the copies are finished. i want the script to be able to recall to a mage shop and purchase blank runes.  and i want to be able to copy 5 books at a time.

i will donate $10 via pay pall to whoever wants to help me out.  thank you

so this script works great exept i need to manually type in the rune names every time i want to start copying books.  the problem is the script can't read the runes in the book to copy so the menu pops up asking what to name them.  so it works quit well.  but like i said, im looking for something to just hit play, set the book to copy, the blank books, and thats it.  I want to be able to type in the script what to name the runes.
<snip>

this is something more what im looking for, but this script just loops on renaming the rune. it will rename it, then rename it again. and it doesn't stop renaming the first rune it marks. everything else seems to work fine though

Please include links to the scripts in question instead of posting the code.  Thanks.  TM

It does rename it. Problem is the script renames it again and again again and again again and again

this script works exept it doesn't read the current runebook so i need to manually type in what to name the runes, other than that it works great.  This get so tireing of typing out each rune every time i want to start copying books.  Maybe this code will help you fix it for me.

running windows 7, the current EUOX client, and UO Client 7.0.8 or something similar.

sorry for not making more sense :)
I have been looking for a runebook copier for a free server. It is UO Forever. This has been heavily moded.  I did get one to work half way but i need to do a lot of manual input on the menu gumps for it to work.  Gonzo's Runebook Copier works but it can't read the runes so i need to manually name them. it gives me a window so i can do 5 books at a time. The problem comes when i want to make more than 5 books, i need to do this every 5 books so it takes quit a bit of time.  I know the script saves me time from manually doing it but it would be nice to have it perfected.

I did find a script where i can manually edit the script itself so it knows what to name the runes without trying to read the original runebook, but when i run this script, it gets stuck looping on just renaming the rune.

Both scripts have great functions. just wish I could figure out how to fix either one to make it perfect.

exactly what he said... when i hit ok, another box pops up. when you hit ok, it renames the rune again, and another box pops up.  this keeps repeating

Ive used a lot of scripts before. but that was a couple years ago.  I can't seem any of the scripts to work. I have read that EUO needs to be updated to work with the current client, but others are making it work for them.  Can someone please walk me through what im doing wrong?  My skype is whitebayuo

Thank you

Script recalls to a spot, marks it, renames the rune, then just loops at renaming the rune.
Here is all I edited

New member introductions / Hi, Im Bayze
« on: June 13, 2013, 04:36:17 PM »
Hi yall. I'm Bayze.

I have been playing UO for, o geez, over 10 years now and it makes me feel old to think I have played a game for 10 years.

I got started on UO when T2A came out and played on Napa Valley.   Ive played on a few other free servers since then. I  like to PvP rather then PvM or farm. but i gotta support my PvP with gear, unless i come across an IDOC, So im usually out getting gold to keep my PvP going.  Scripting makes making money so much easier.  Thank you for some of your scripting skills!

I used to play hybrid a few years ago.  Started a couple  of the largest guilds on there.  i just started playing again last week and found that server to be dead.  So ive started up on UO Forever.
