Its just a nice Mondains Legacy server with no real customs besides the lrc and luck pieces (donation items). Theres usually about 25+ online but thats actually growing at this point. As far as starting off, its alot faster to start there than almost any other free server. For instance, I have a wife, kids, job, and a new german shepherd puppy that I'm doing obedience training with. My plate is pretty full so I have no chance of getting geared enough for pvp on most servers. UOSL allows me to get my items fairly quickly and jump right into the fray. I enjoy that and it just works for my lifestyle.

True - Which is hard to believe considering I've been riding motorcycles for 20 years.

Thanks for the help guys. I guess I'm gonna try making a script for my ABC archer. Maybe something that honors the closest enemy and then keeps lightning strike going.

You mean like this? :)

Yes, just like that lol. It does look quite impressive. It'll most likely be some time before I can download it though so I figured I can make one for the meantime.

I appreciate the response and I've already copied all of his lessons onto my desktop but what kind of code is that? C++ or C#? I'm considering going and buying one of those "for dummies" books on scripting and I'd like to know which one will serve me best.

True - although I've spent far too much time staring at Khameleon's.

Scripting Chat / Scripting Help..any suggestions?

Okay, I've decided that I want to learn a little about scripting. The problem is I dont know where to begin this journey. I dont know which is best whether its C++ or C# or whatever else is out there and their differences. I'm not looking into doing this as a profession, I would just like to be able to read and understand the majority of the scripts I find here and perhaps write one of my own in the distant future. Can anyone explain how to go about this process?

Thank you TM. I'm at work for another 3 hours but I went ahead and downloaded it to a flashdrive. I'll check it when I get home and let you know how it does.

*Update* Its doing the same thing as version 1.26. Starting it off, I only had 1 fletchers tool in my main pack. It went to make more but the menu pretty much flashed. Nothing happened. I went ahead and helped the script out by making some and restarting. I then got a message about no more tinker tools. I added KTL to the #tinktools and got past that point. I went to the setup and got everything done as far as my book, the bags, and secure and saved it. I then hit play. It worked until it recalled to heartwood. At which point it wanted to run the setup again. Not sure whats going on but I'll keep working at it or perhaps try copying the CLAw comments in 1.24 and moving them into 1.16 and see what happens.

I can post the previous version of this script that doesn't require the new OSI crafting menu.  I think that was version 1.24.

That would be fantastic TM. I hate to keep troubling you but this is by far the best script I've ever used and I've been even more pleased with it after being able to get it to recall to and from Heartwood. You'd be suprised how much time is saved when your server doesnt require the rails.

Okay, I'm actually quite satisfied with version 1.16 as thats the only version that works for me but I was wondering if the ScriptUO program could help find the differences between 1.16 and 1.26. For some reason both 1.18 and 1.26 stop working once I get to Heartwood and it opens the fletching menu. I just want to get a taste of the CLaw program built into 1.26 and because its still being supported. 1.16 does well but I cant get the BM looter to pick up anything even with the settings on say 6 and I know that after pending countless hours there, I've had to of passed up some good jewelry. Also, my character will not pick up the ingots from my secure meaning I have to load up like 700 ingots in my main pack before starting the script.

Okay, I know this is a late post and its past prediction time but I'm a die-hard broncos fan so its been a tough year for me. I'm hoping that Orton develops a strong arm and the ability to look down the field for the next season. That being said, I'm gonna go ahead and predict a first place finish for the Broncos in the AFC west next season.

*side note* I hope Peyton Hillis doesnt get traded and get a chance to show his skill next season. As an Arkansan that watched him play with the Hogs, I think hes getting a *bleep* deal with the new coach, McNumbnuts.

*An Corp*

I'm playing on Shattered Legacy myself. As an OSI vet I actually find the server on par with the pay to play servers. Its never been a lack of money that draws me to the free servers as I donate more than it would cost to play on EA, its about the my inability to accept change. I couldnt be happier with the gameplay offered on Shattered Legacy and I doubt I'll ever go back to EA.
