Going back to the old system , where you lose dex and speed depending of the armor.  That will be nice. Let see what in the oven for that one.

I'm waiting to see what it all brings but I really hope this isn't used as a sampire nerf but I guess I've had my suits and weapons for a long time so rebuilding might be interesting.  We shall see but given what other amazing ideas they have had I'm not holding my breath.

interesting on the duped items... with the amount of items that I have purchased over the years, i am sure some must have been from some kind of dupe exploit at some time.  I wonder how they can even tell after an xfer.  i hope they dont go deleting random pieces off my suits that they believe have been duped.  clearly, they are not saying that but maybe it is more tied to a recent exploit where that is happening currently or very recently.

'Made all armor useful again'

Outside of 'mage armor' addition, there is no way to make armor that has the same level of protection but causes dex loss useful.  No reason leather should have the same base stats of metals.  Making metals with higher base stats allows them to be incorporated into suits because you won't have to waste 1-2 imbue slots on bumping resist but can instead add better attributes.  That is the only fix I see that can fix the armor issue.

Dupers are so silly today... Back in my day when we'd use the serverline dupe (with boats) we would just recycle duped gold checks through vendors. Screw items. Buy legit items with duped (recycled) gold. From what I understand people dont like duping gold checks because they dont want to break/remake them manually. Hence vendors. (1 bandage, 100M, done).

That specific bug as long been fixed :>

It was unknowingly fixed when a hotfix for the bug to get out of factions within seconds was fixed :P

Just don't make any sense block it on vendors, and don't add a [DUPE] tag, or allow transfer. But is a good start.
