-Automated Setup
-Have a bag of music rolls in your backpack
-Stand next to a placed harpsichord
-Press play & follow instructions

This one is pretty simple, so I doubt anyone will have questions.

General UO Chat / How are we training combat skills lately?

Starting a macer on a new shard.  Anyone have any recommendations for combat training?  I prefer to get some benefit out of it at the same time (i.e. resources) but that isn't strictly necessary.

Off Topic / Buying a new computer (maybe)

So, Michael Dell stole my shares from me as he bought his company back to rescue it.  I'm tempted to use the (meager) payout to finance a new system, as my laptop is circa 2007 and having more & more problems.

I'm thinking of buying a desktop, to get more bang for buck.  I'm long past the days when i had time to build these things myself.  I'm looking for something about $700-900 that will primarily rip DVD/Blu/music, play UO, and maybe a few new games.  I'd like something robust enough to have a lot of storage and that can VMware to multi-account!

Thoughts?  I'm looking for recommended system specs *and* vendors.

General UO Chat / Please help: Looking for suit building/weapon making updates

Greetings!  I'm sort of getting the UO bug again.  However, since they introduced the new stuff that let's you tweak the caps on your suits, I need to read up on what's available.  I fully understand reforging....its the stuff they added after that i don't know about.

If you have an uber suit for any character template that maximizes the new benefits, or a weapon that does the same, please post a pic and explanation if you have the time!

Also - Are people using the town bonuses?  Which one is the best for an archer?  bard?  melee?  etc?

General UO Chat / How to fix a broken personal attendant deed

Greetings:

If, like me, you're a veteran shard hopper, you may have noticed that if you transfer without your personal attendant deed it won't recognize you upon your return home.

Never fear:  Just put the deed in your pack and transfer again.  Fixed!

Scripting Chat / Need help with cLAW integration

I use cLAW for extended periods of time.  When I do, I still get slowdowns - despite the great help TM has provided.  When those slowdowns happen, I think this portion of the script I've modified is causing crashes:

General UO Chat / Need a hand with runic reforging specifics

I've looked around.  While I see some general stuff on stratics and uoguide, I'm trying to craft something really specific:  A replacement (or as near as possible) for Spirit of the Totem.

Mostly, I want:

10 Physical Resist
Max HCI possible
Max Strength bonus possible
150 Luck
Repairable

Thoughts on how to proceed?  I'm thinking leather/medable for now, so Barbed Kits obviously...but what else?

I know a lot of you hate the new loot system, but it has pulled me back into this game with a vengeance.  Yes, I really like finding the 150M+ lottery tickets on two hit monsters, but mostly I really enjoy finding stuff like THIS:

Makes me want to run a RP event for my home shard and give away 100M to the winner.  I love UO!

It's not uber, but it is the first clean Greater Artifact armor piece I've pulled with the new loot system.  Covetous.

Fun!  I love this new system!

EDIT:  Tempted to use some Forged Metal to enhance it!
