I actually had an account here back in 2010 but not sure what happened to it, if I deleted it or it went inactive, either way here I am again.

I am an OG Ultima Online player from 1997. Mostly play by myself, not a fan of big guilds, and am basically a nobody in the game lol. I currently only do retail and EasyUO stuff. I guess that would make me what they call a 'boomer' these days, as most people have moved on to other clients and ways of automation. EasyUO and the CC are incredibly clunky/slow compared to what they have these days but it works for me and, so far anyways, I refuse to modernize! If it ain't broke, don't fix it! I've done it all, tamers, melee, archers/throwers, thunters, crafters, pvp/pvm, etc. and have my own scripts for almost every skill and mundane task you could imagine plus a bunch of useless ones.

I would say I'm a very advanced scripter, as I do a bit of programming professionally along with doing EASYUO stuff for over a decade. I've done some incredibly complicated things from scratch, but only out of necessity for very niche things. At the same time I don't like reinventing the wheel, so if there's scripts out there that do what I need I use those. However, I can't help myself but tinker with them a bit, and make them faster and more efficient. Cut a few milliseconds here, a few milliseconds there, adds up. Honestly one of my favorite things about this game is making scripts to do mundane tasks and also making them very fast and efficient lol.

My journey with **Ultima Online** began back in **2010**, when I first stumbled upon the game after hearing about it from some online forums. I was instantly hooked by the depth and freedom that the game offered. What really drew me in was the open-world feel, where the choices you make, from crafting to PvP, really mattered. It was unlike anything I had played before—especially with its player-driven economy and ability to shape your own adventure.

I remember the first time I created my character and started exploring, getting lost in dungeons and learning how unforgiving yet rewarding the world could be. The sense of community was always a huge part of the experience for me, from making allies in guilds to the endless hours spent hunting or crafting with friends. Over the years, I’ve played on various shards, always coming back to UO for that nostalgia and incredible gameplay that you just can't find anywhere else.

Looking forward to sharing more experiences with you all and learning from your stories too. If anyone remembers the days of 2010 UO or has favorite memories from around that time, I'd love to hear them!
