Hi Dixie, Is there a way to change this script to beep when it turns to idoc from greatly worn? Most Idoc's are early mornings for me 3am-ish so getting the time it goes from greatly to idoc lets me set the alarm so I can get a lil sleep :P

Thanks, Krib.

Hi Krib.  I'm glad you've found this script useful! I am trying to find it, but I thought I had posted my idoc timing script, which pretty much does what you want, but rather than sounding an alarm, it pops up a window display the time it went idoc.  I might not have posted it though, and I lost all of my scripts when my computer crashed, so I'll have to see about recreating it if not (I actually stopped playing UO a couple months ago due to RL, but I still plan to maintain my scripts on here, as needed)....

Crafting / Re: neo's bodbook filler v1.2 09/29
« on: January 21, 2012, 11:39:20 AM »
Awesome script Neo!  I downloaded this when it was first released, but never got around to testing it, but I must say that this script is working almost perfectly!

The one problem I have had has been mentioned by others, where it will make the wrong item, and then it loops infinitely (lines 611-612, in the craftcycle sub).  It's obviously looking for the items it made, but because they are the wrong item type, it's not finding anything made.  I don't know what causes it, as it made the wrong item for the very first bod I tested, then upon restart filled 89 before it had any problems, and now has filled 68 and counting without any other errors. My best guess is that it is a lag issue, but have not been able to recreate the error otherwise.  I can see a couple possible ways to work around this, one by making sure that the #findcnt before it enters that loop is not 0 (zero), and the other possibly being to check after 1 item has been made to see if the right kind was created.

I also have one possible suggestion, which I only think is needed when crafting exceptional plate tunics, but there might be something else that might need it.  This suggestion would be to add ASH support, so that the character would equip an ASH whenever it needed to make exceptional tunics, then unequip it afterwards.  This is a fairly small thing though, and the ingot loss isn't huge, but given how precious they can be and how many bod fill can use (especially when going through over 100,000 bods like me!), this could still be very helpful!!!

Otherwise, the script works perfectly and is sooooo fast, it will definitely be my BOD filler for a long time to come (even though it makes my own BOD Filler Caller obsolete)!  Thanks again for posting it and I look forward to having the chance to test out some of the other scripts you've posted in the near future!

I must set my own sound ? or is from the system ?

The sound it plays is just a default sound. To hear what it sounds like, you can try this script, which will play it 10 times in a row (it's a very short sound):
Code: [Select]
for %i 1 10
  sound
halt

A note to anyone who wants to change this for Enchanted Essence instead of Magical Residue...

Change the three instance of TKR to WKR...these are on lines 64, 81, and 276...
On line 262, change the name from "Beninort" to "Aurvidlem"...

And of course, remark your runes near that NPC, although you could change the scanning range (set at 3) if you want to mark them more centrally so you can use them with either script...

That's it!!! :-)

And neo, it seems like this could be changed permanently by adding variables for something like %resource and %NPCname, to be set by having the user select which to do at the start of the script (or automatically do both and do them based on the resources in the container, so if you run out of one, it'll switch to another?).  You could also make the menu for adding the rune numbers have a third column for the runes for the EE NPC, to incorporate this?

I've ran this script through about 30,000 residue (1-1/2 hours) and 14,000 essence (edited script, taken about 44 mins so far), and it's working great! I did have to change line 295s click spot from 130 to 165, but otherwise it's great as is and I'm getting a lot of points for these resources (i'll have done 300 quests when i finish with the essence, and i'll have gotten 150,000 points and 4 runics with it). A great script...thanks!!!

New member introductions / Re: GO LIONS!

Why not start off on a good note eh'.

Go lions!

hehe, as ya can tell I'm a die hard Lions fan.

I generally play all of the East coast shards, and have dabbled a little bit on pac,LA, and some on Origin. I'm not much of a scripter myself, but at times have stumbled through and fixed an error in a script. :D

This isn't the first time I've been on this site, but this is my first post i beleive. I don't know when i found it in the past, but i had a log in! I was checking out the site, and it appears to have some good stuff here. Hopefully I can stick around, and be some help. Or, at least here to tell ya how great my Lions are, and how I hate the Cheese Heads!

Welcome from another die hard Lions fan who resides in the 'burbs of Detroit!

Funny thing about those Cheeseheads though...Cheese is good and Head is even better, but when you put them both together, something just goes terribly wrong!!!

Script Debug / Re: Blackrock in the trash.
« on: September 23, 2011, 06:52:37 PM »
Trying to code a script to pick Blackrock off the ground into a trash barrel but it will only pick it up not toss in the trashcan. As you can tell by the looks of it this is a very complicated script:

Code: [Select]
set %trashcan BKF
finditem UVF_GWF_FWF_EWF G_2
if #FINDCNT > 0
{
  event Drag #FINDID
  wait 15
  exevent dropc %trashcan
  wait 15

What am I missing? Something very simple I imagine. ???

It looks like %trashcan is only set to the itemtype, not the actual ID of the trashcan that you want the blackrock thrown into?

Hey bodfather...I probably have the same plan as you right now and have been considering the same switch.  My brother, his wife, and some friends all recently switched to Virgin Mobile, which although it requires the purchase of a phone (I'm still researching the phones), has plans that all offer unlimited texting and data, as well as either 300 minutes ($35), 1,200 minutes ($45), or unlimited minutes ($55), and there is also no contract.  So far, everyone I've talked to has been pleased with the service, although some of them did select a phone that I haven't heard much good about (Samsung Intercept).  And the phone selection seems to be limited, but if that's what I have to do to seriously reduce my monthly bill, then so be it!

Does anyone else have any experience with Virgin Mobile?  I'm considering the switch this week, but am still not completely convinced on the phone to choose!

Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:D  Yup!  I think they are going to completely dominate this year!

I sure hope so!  0-16 was tough to go through, but if this is what we get for it, it'll have been more than worth it!  I might even try to go to a game this year, but will definitely enjoy watching them for a change...

please PM your Email address's if you wish to be a part of the live draft tomorrow at 5Pm Central time, 6 eastern.
I changed to the Espn website instead of cbs, CBS Sports will not let me change from a 12 team roster... as of now I have it set to a 10 team minimum if we happen to have more I can always change that before the live draft on Wednesday before 5PM... I hope we get enough members to go through with this... Best of luck to everyone out there :)

Dang, I'd have joined, but know the chance of me being able to make it at 6est is slim to none :(  And here I was all ready to support my Lions through the SUO FFL!!!

I need to figure out how to use the character copy/transfer over to TC!

For the purpose of testing point values, just load up your backpack and/or bank box with items you want to test.  Then choose "help" from the paperdoll gump, then the last option is "Character Copy".  Make sure you're not mounted, follow the instructions (clicking a few "next", "ok", or similar buttons), then your character will be squelched and invised, and finally a message will appear that your character has been copied.  Now just go to TC1 on that account and the character will appear naked in some city.  You can dress from there, then move everything from a moving crate to your characters backpack (bank is left as is).  Then hopefully you can either place a small house or know someone with a house, so you can actually do your testing.

Although Relics, Essence, and Residue are worthless by themselves, they could still be donated indirectly...just do the Ter Mur quest and get the imbuing scrolls and donate them!  Not sure what the mallets would be worth, but it might be a nice use of all that damn residue I've made!!!
