; Special thanks: MeWonUo and The Ghost for testing v2.0 Open Beta and providing me
;                 with detailed feedback of their runs. Thanks guys! :)
;

;          in place after filling them. Works with both SMITH and TAILOR BODs as of

; Url:     http://www.scriptuo.com/index.php?topic=8636.0
;===================================================================================
; Version 2.0   - Added tailor bod support
;               - Polished up some of the code
;
;------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
; Version 1.2   - Public release. Thank you very much MeWonUo and Goliath for
;                 testing this out and sending feedback, I'm sure I wouldn't have
;                 gotten so far with this script without your help. Thank you! :)

; Version 0.4   - More minor fixes.
;------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
; Version 0.3   - Some more fixes
;------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
; Version 0.2   - A few minor fixes
;-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
; Version 0.1   - Closed beta
;-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
; Instructions:
;               - Have a salvage bag in your backpack
;               - Use only ONE color of cloth, having more colors in your secure/backpack
;                 will break the script
;               - You need a trash barrel within two tiles for trashing bone items
;                 since they can't be recycled
;               - You must add the CONTAINERS which contain bod books to be filled
;                 to the menu list. When you add the container, all books inside
;                 that container will be added automatically to the list
;               - You must have at least 1 tinker tools inside backpack or resource
;                 secure to craft the tongs (and enough tinker skill of course)
;               - You must have a secure with all the crafting material in
;
;               You have 2 trashing options for non-exceptional items:
;               - Salvaging. This will require you to have a Salvage Bag inside
;                 your backpack.
;               - Throw away in trash. This will require you to have a trash can
;                 within 2 tiles from your character
;               YOU MUSTN'T HAVE ANY LOOSE BODS INSIDE YOUR BACKPACK WHEN YOU
;               HIT PLAY, OTHERWISE YOU WILL BREAK THE SCRIPT.
; IMPORTANT NOTE: DON'T USE ANY FILTERS ON YOUR BOD BOOKS
;-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you MeWonUo and The Ghost for valuable feedback on the Open Beta for version 2.0
I'd also like to thank MeWonUo and Goliath for testing the earlier Closed Beta for me... Couldn't have done it like this, without your help! So thank you! :)

Well, here it is (again). The idea was to write a new bod filler from scratch, to make it fill every small bod you have inside bod books within containers on the ground around you.
I tried to make it as fast as I could, while keeping it bug-free (hopefully). I would appreciate the feedback if you use this, to keep improving it for everyone's use.

Supports BOTH SMITH and TAILOR BODs as of version 2.0 (including Bone BODs)

Just giving it a whirl now, seems quicker than Timbo SLices bod caller which ive been using. Looks smooth and so far no problems. A great script, thanks for sharing.

I seem to have run into an issue. I am currently playing on Pandora, and this is what's happening.

When I run the script, it attempts to make tongs and never stops. When I open up the tong gump, it made a heater shield then went back to making tongs again. Any advice?

I'm not sure... I've only tested this on OSI.... I'm thinking maybe the item type for tongs are different over there? Try checking that....

Script is great but there is still a problem with the unfilled bods you receive from the blacksmith not going into the bodbook for empty bods.

Also, it seems to be only able bodbooks with like 200 bods in them or less.  Otherwise it loads up to the max item limit in your backpack and gets stuck saying the bag is too full, rather than unloading.

Script Approved and moved to script library .
Another great script thank you.

The only issue I've run acrosss was the script mistakenly made bucklers instead of bronze shields on one occasion. You might want to add a weight check ... to detect if wrong item is made... ie if after crafting weight increases but the item looking for count remains the same you just made a wrong item.  But this only happened once in my testing... Ive got it munching its way through a few hundred bods so ill keep you posted.

Also would be nice if script auto detected your salvage bag... your welcome to use/modify my autodetect code here http://www.scriptuo.com/index.php?topic=2454.msg64961#msg64961

I've had it fill 1K or more with only once it seemed to fill the wrong thing but I don't recall what it was, otherwise it's sweet.

Additional Suggestion.
-- Hide character while crafting .. if hiding skill > 0 and or in house.

Edit:  Update... bods filled approx 500 so far,  Speed is defiantly a big plus on your script ... especially when filling large amounts of bods which i am currently doing ...  well done.  I haven't run into making an incorrect item since that initial run.  So maybe i somehow interfered with the script unknowingly... or maybe its freakishly rare... Either way well done on a very stable script.  Filling approx 100bods an hour.

Salvage Bag issue.

If you do not have mining skill high enough to smelt a non exceptional item, you can end up witht he scenario of a full salvage bag and teh script getting stuck in a loop of attempting to craft an item but unable due to your backpack being full.

Perhaps a check, after slvage bag useage to see if bag is empty/weight is reduced and if not use trash instead. Or pop a warning message.   And adding needs mining on the initial menu in case people like me forget to soulstone it onto the char.

I'm glad it's working well so far! I have to try and find what could have caused that wrong item issue, or at least write a safety check like you suggested to see if the correct item is crafted... I also have to try and write those improvements so that the script is easier and more intuitive to use, and more efficient of course!

Cheers!

Awesome script Neo!  I downloaded this when it was first released, but never got around to testing it, but I must say that this script is working almost perfectly!

The one problem I have had has been mentioned by others, where it will make the wrong item, and then it loops infinitely (lines 611-612, in the craftcycle sub).  It's obviously looking for the items it made, but because they are the wrong item type, it's not finding anything made.  I don't know what causes it, as it made the wrong item for the very first bod I tested, then upon restart filled 89 before it had any problems, and now has filled 68 and counting without any other errors. My best guess is that it is a lag issue, but have not been able to recreate the error otherwise.  I can see a couple possible ways to work around this, one by making sure that the #findcnt before it enters that loop is not 0 (zero), and the other possibly being to check after 1 item has been made to see if the right kind was created.

I also have one possible suggestion, which I only think is needed when crafting exceptional plate tunics, but there might be something else that might need it.  This suggestion would be to add ASH support, so that the character would equip an ASH whenever it needed to make exceptional tunics, then unequip it afterwards.  This is a fairly small thing though, and the ingot loss isn't huge, but given how precious they can be and how many bod fill can use (especially when going through over 100,000 bods like me!), this could still be very helpful!!!

Otherwise, the script works perfectly and is sooooo fast, it will definitely be my BOD filler for a long time to come (even though it makes my own BOD Filler Caller obsolete)!  Thanks again for posting it and I look forward to having the chance to test out some of the other scripts you've posted in the near future!

I really need to find the time to test this out again, so I can try and see what's causing certain issues that users are having sometimes...

For the ASH support, I'll definitely add that to the TO DO list here, and I hope to be able to really put some time to updating my scripts soon... Things have been quite hectic here lately...

Anyway, thank you for the great feedback, feel free to drop by with more suggestions if you have 'em....

Cheers!

With the BOD changes up and coming and the large amount of recently looted BOD's I fired up your script and has been running perfect! What a great script for large amounts of BOD's to fill. Like stated by EN average 100 filled by the hour and fast!
Title: Re: neo's bodbook filler v1.2 09/29
Post by: Adenocard on January 25, 2012, 11:00:05 AM
I have been running this script as of late with the changes happening, and yes I have found that at a certain point it will make the wrong item type and get stuck.. I also noticed that sometimes when it pulls a bod it doesn't change the ingot type, so it make the right item till the backpack is over loaded.  I have had to start and stop the program a couple times, and I noticed its getting hung up on DC platemail tunics, and DC platemail sleeves alot

Hopefully that is a little help to pinpoint whats happening, other than that its very fast at filling the bods, and well used with the swapper its going to be nice for getting tons of valorite hammers.  Thank you for writing such nice scripts, just wish I could contribute more to help.

It will certainly help a lot when updating...

Title: Re: neo's bodbook filler v1.2 09/29
Post by: Newsman on April 12, 2012, 07:49:26 AM
Script is not currently functioning.

Bugs found:
The script occasionally chooses the wrong metal for crafting in the gump.  So while it may take the correct metal, it crafts nothing and does not fill a bod because it is attempting to craft with a different metal.

The script also crafts the wrong items from time to time.
examples:  It was trying to craft iron female plate instead of iron hammer picks.
It also tried crafting bronze cutlasses instead of bronze bronze shields.

Post by: NObama on April 12, 2012, 08:20:14 AM
The bronze bronze shield thing has been a problem with other BOD filler scripts.  I believe someone fixed it a while back on EUO.  s7's script, maybe?

I'd look there for fix inspiration if neo is no longer supporting this.

I'm trying really hard to take care of my RL issues so I can come back as soon as I can to UO... Sorry for the lack of support lately, but I promise I'll get back on it as soon as I find myself able to... I remember the last version I had written, which is the one I uploaded here, did have the bronze bronze shield issue fixed... Now, since it has been a long time since I last gave this a go, I bet there were some changes that might have broken this...

Anyway, if anyone wants to try and fix it and post up the code for the fix here, I wouldn't mind of course...

Just wish I could be more of help right now... Hopefully I'll be able to help out soon enough...

Hey Neo, ivebeen trying to run this over the last few days, it seems to complete one or two bods no problem but then the next bod it will make the previous Bod'd item. its just filled in  a hammer pick bod then pulled a closed helmet bod and continues to make hammer picks.

i noticed it gets the ore selection right if the last bod is a different ore just not the item, let me know if i can change anything to fix or if i can give you any more information.

cheers

Nice script. Your hard work and dedication to it is quite commendable. Great job.

I run into an issue though. At the beginning, after targeting secures, it takes my BOD book into my pack. It then opens it and it sits there with the book open, once in awhile it will flash, like it keeps opening it over and over. Has anyone else had this problem?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hope to hear from you guys!

hello ...

First off this script is so sweet... thanks for your hard work

You asked for issues if we found them.

Tonight  on 2nd book after 45 BoDs filled it pulled out a chainmail coif 10 count
and stared making plate legs ......

Not sure what happened it had alread filled a few cahinmail coifs already

the deed it did this on was listed as

small bulk order
iron ingots
normal
amount to make 10
chainmail coif

and was on OSI server

not sure if that info will help or if its needed ... but great work it has made it much easier on me thanks

Also as I am sure others do I have a lot of tailoring BoDs in books I can help test with if needed to add tailor to the script.

Hey... Well, I don't really know at this point, since I've never actually done tailoring. But my guess is it shouldn't be too hard... Like I said, just want to sort out the problems it currently has (if any) and then implement tailoring already.

So far I've only seen bugs related to lag while running this. Hope to get enough feedback soon to be able to either fix this or move on to tailoring... When this happens, I should probably come up with the new version in a day or so.

Oh, by "trashed" you mean extra items that were made beyond the needed amount for a certain BOD?

Here the final stats from your menu,
Code: [Select]
Neo's BOD Filler
Current book 9
Bods Filled 1018
Items trashed 27
Time running 10h:36m:23s

During the whole time, it happen in 4 occasions that items got trash( make extra items).  27 items, so 360 of 163 658 Ingots was miss use.  it a good ratio.  No Crash, no hiccup, no fuzz,  Just pure joy while I wake up this morning.

So, I'm teeter-tottering between coding and playing with my nephew, but I'm making some progress on the tailor part already. Maybe later tonight or tomorrow I'll have something ready. Since I don't actually have any tailor toons to try it out with, I'll be asking for help to test it out. It'll be kind of like a closed beta before releasing it here to the public. I have a couple of people lined up to try it out so far, but the more the merrier! :)

So if anyone wants to help out with some testing of the new beta version, please let me know here... I'll be providing beta versions to those interested and then await feedback!

Cheers!

But first go enjoy time with the nephew.  You can program at night when he is in bed.  Like me now, I'm going for bike ride with my kid :))

Just a status update:

I have all the code for tailoring pretty much done, I'm just running into a few issues when testing some var evaluations, and I haven't been able to figure them out just yet... It's just a small detail, but one that would keep the script from running. So as soon as I figure out why the evaluations are returning wrong, I'll have it ready for testing.

Thank you everyone who's been helping, I hope to get it done soon for you guys...

Good news:

I had to go on a sort of business trip and haven't had time to work on this, until today. I also managed to test this out for the first time, and it seems to be working well for cloth BODs, but something's wrong with leather ones. I'm reading through the code as I post, and hopefully I'll have a beta version ready later today.

I'll keep you guys posted!

Those that are testing.  You need to add item BUI to the !cloth variable in the === vars === section of the script.

Neo - It's got through about 20 cloth bods so far without any issues at all.  I'll move over to leather and bone items here soon.

For me the script hangs up on the bone bods

It seems to pull the book to my pack
pulls the bods
pulls the resources needed
makes the number of items listed on the bod so if its 20 exceptional
it stops at 20 items created regardless if they are exceptional or not and then just sits there.

Not sure what info you need but I am happy to help

I have 1500 barbed kit bods to fill (smalls) so filling all of those so a high end mix of bods. it got stuck when i accidentally opened my paperdoll, it made 20x tunic (should have been female Armour) and hung, but that was my fault. I have since then re-started and has filled 155 bods in 125mins

Nel, do you have that same bod to try out with again? I checked the code here and it seems to be right for both legs and skirt. Perhaps it was something lag related? I do know that lag can mess up the flow of the script, and there's nothing really I can do about it, unless I was willing to sacrifice A LOT of speed.

If you do have that same BOD, please try it out for me and tell me how it goes. If it hangs again, then I suppose it's not lag related, and I'll have to figure it out...

Thanks for the feedback so far!

Did some more filling this morning, at some point the script moved or opened my paper doll or back pack and the next bod was out of whack again, made 10 x Horned leather shorts, instead of the 10 x horned leather studded Armour expected.

hope this helps find the problem.

Nel

did some more bods after this, after 34th bod it was supposed to make 15 barbed leather shorts, made 15 barbed leather leggings instead. again the paper doll or backpack moved, this is the only thing i can see happening. not sure if that's the problem though. Off to work now, back 10pm UK time will give it another try then.

Well, those issues do seem to be lag related... Especially since it reopened the backpack apparently... I remember I coded something to reopen the backpack to avoid ghosting issues in case lag was detected... I'll have to tinker around with it a little bit further I guess... Maybe add a user variable in there where the user can define his own lag or something...

Anyhow, thank you for keeping me posted on your runs, keep that info coming, I'll definitely try and make it work out for you and everyone else who might come into any issues...

I am not sure it's lag thats causing it, i have started the script 4 times tonight and it has ran for a while and then stopped after making a quantity of the wrong items. i have a 15ping to my shard, and run Timbo's script to fill none bone bods. maybe its just a problem with my puter, i will try it on the other one tomorrow see if it still has the same problem.

I'm just trying to see all the possibilities since I wasn't able to figure out your issue so far.... That's why I asked...

If it was something wrong with the code, everyone would get bad results I think... And that doesn't seem to be the case so far...

Of course I'm not trying to write a script that most people could get to work. I mean to write a script that can be useful to anyone who cares to use it.

So even if it is lag related or setup related, or whatever it is, I'll be trying to figure it out so that we can all come to a solution for any issues together. Might that be modifications at my end or the user's end.

Hope to continue getting support from everyone, like you do Nel. Otherwise it wouldn't be possible for me to continue this work.

Cheers!

I would never slow it down... lol

I was thinking more along the lines of better lag detection coded in without sacrificing speed.

I already have some of that in there, but I guess it's far from perfect... I dunno... Or maybe figure out what maybe causing Nel's issues if it's not lag or setup related and just fix that, again, without messing with the speed.

I hate slow stuff!  :'(

Morning Neo, So i ran this on my newer computer this morning before work. It ran well for the 1st 27 bods (unfortunately i had gone to make a cup of tea after starting the script... got to get priorities right) when i came back 20 mins later the script had filled my backpack and the quest log was flashing up as if the botton was being pressed over and over, i clicked ok and closed the gump but the script had to be stopped as the backpack was full of leather bustiers instead of the 20 Gorgets that should have been there.

I have seen the Quest gump pop up before but was watching the screen so closed it and it wasn't a problem, i just moved it off the side of the screen so it could not be clicked.

Could it be something to do with screen resolution? i have my screen so that the UO play window nearly fills my monitor and not like a lot of the screenshots i have seen where the play window is about 50% of the screen and the rest is the black area where ppl have their spells, paperdoll and such.

Willing to try any suggestions you may have. will check when i get back from work.

Hm, that's a really weird issue you're having there... And apparently it's not a common one at all heh...

If you're up for it, I would suggest you trying to run UO with the default settings (the way it is after a default install), and try and run the filler then and see how it goes.

Maybe you could have a second UO install folder to try that out. If it were to work, you could then use that second install folder with the default settings just for this (or some other) script, and use your regular one for the rest of your stuff.

And if that doesn't work either, then we could try and work out some other idea as to what might be going wrong.

Either case, let me know what you think!

Cheers!

Hi Neo, Going to have to say this has beaten me. Not sure if its Lag, Screen Size, or i am just doing something stupidly wrong that i cant work out whats making the script stop after filling the wrong items. Your script does what no other does to date, which is fills Boned bods. But for filling normal bods i am going to have to revert to S7's for the time being. Your support for this this script as good as if not better than some of the script writers, but i think this is down to me and my setup as nobody else seems to have the same problems as me. Thank you for the time and effort you have put into the script. If you manage to put in a lag modifier or whatever it would be called i will try it again. or anything else you can think of.

Nel, have you tried my suggestion above? To try and use the default install settings of UO (default screen resolution and whatnot) and just run the script to see if that solves it ?

If it does solve the issue, I think you could leave two different installs for UO, the one you use regularly and one for this script... If you try that and it's still a no-go, then we can try and figure something else out...

I'm really sorry it's not working for you so far, I really hope we could come to the bottom of this!

Let me know !

Neo, Yes i did return to the normal screen size and it still ended up making the wrong items after about 20 bods. I think it could just be the speed and others that are running it must have faster connections or a more stable connection than me. I will still be using your script to fill bone bods.

This thing is lightning fast ! I have had a few times it has gotten stuck making dublets. the bod wasnt for Dublets. i just dump them into the trash are restart it. It also got stuck making some dress and fills the pack up. Over all i am very satisfied. What does a fewq hundred cloth cost.  For some reason i have been laggy in the game with a few spikes.

I'm pretty sure that making wrong items can just be lag related. However, the issue of it filling the bag with a specific item is probably something in the script.

Do you know which dress it got stuck on, filling the bag? That's information I would definitely need, and it would be really easy to fix this, if I knew which item was causing the problem.

Please let me know for which items exactly this happens!

Cheers!

Does this happen with any bone bod for you or specific one(s)?

If you could tell me which items your got it stuck on, that would be of great help.

Finally had some time to play a little bit more with this.

Bone and Normal leather got stuck on a 20 exceptional gloves
it made 20 items and then just stopped

Bone and Horned Armor got stuck on 20 exceptional breast plates.
it made 20 items and then just stopped

seems to be having a problem continuing the crafting till there are 20 "exceptional" items and then filling the bod.

The non exceptional bods seem to be flowing so I will keep running and see what other bods I get stuck on

*updated**

I ran through 600+ "Normal" Bone Bods. Normal Leather, Spinned Leather, and Horned Leather. No issues at all. Seems the issues are somehow on the "Exceptional" versions.

I actually hadn't seen this post.

Does this still happen for you?

I figured out I have a tailor toon after all, lol.

I'm going to get me some bods to actually run this thing myself, and see if I run into some of these issues.

If anyone has a few of these exceptional bone BODs on Atlantic that I could maybe try out with, that would be sweet! PM me! :)

Whats going on NEO I love the idea and the script, been waiting for one that worked good with tailor deeds and had multi book support so thank you! The dress that filled up my pack was a fancy dress. First time I tried it, it filled 18 bods. On the 19th bod it made fancy dresses and filled the pack when it was supposed to make 20N thigh boots. It hadnt tried to make 20N thigh boots yet so im not sure if its a problem with that bod line or not. Hope this helps.. Gon run it again just picking cloth and see if anything breaks. Still a great script though :)

Hey, I still plan on trying this out myself and debugging it to improve some of people's found issues so far !

I've just been too busy as of late.

I was also thinking of rewriting this for stealth, since it would probably work a lot better there!

I'll keep you guys posted.

In the mean time, any other information you might have about issues or good things, be sure to let me know!

I use this script for filling Bone bods only, there are other scripts that i use to fill multiple books that work fine but none do bone bods but this one. I think the backpack filling with the wrong items is down to lag, i have had many times when this script has made the wrong items and started to fill my bp, but i have also had times when it has filled 100's of bods without problems. Since we moved to the cloud... whatever that means, we seem to have a lot more short bursts of server side lag so i think that is what will be causing the problems. just my 2 shiny new pennies worth.

Have you filled exceptional bone bods as well, or just normal ones on those runs ?

Hey Neo, i did another 55 bone bods today. it did 26 then started filling bp, did 5 then stalled, did 13 then failed to open tool did 10 then started to fill bp and then did the last 2 ok. I believe all of these errors are caused by some short lag bursts, i have a 16 ping to the server so it should be ok. I think i will try and adjust the wait times to see if that helps at all. Cant argue with the fact that its fast, just maybe a little bit too fast hehe.

Hey Neo! sup! Well i was giving this a test, and its f*cking awesome, Thank you so much for this script. I dont know if you keep an eye on the post but i will give you my feedback just in case :P

I found out some issues with these bods, they are Ringmail sleeves, Daggers, Halberd and Tear Kite shield, as long as i've tested it, it gets stucked when one of those bods appear, it tries to make the last item he did, so before i try to fill any books i have to get out these bods.

Any ideas on how to solve it? Every kind of help would be appreciated. Ty

Hey, thank you for the feedback.

Are you sure this happens with these specific bods, and not just randomly with any bods ? That issue you're having seems to be related to lag spikes, and if so, could happen with just any item...

those lags seem to influence script very much. f.e i play on shard where world saves are. I don`t know about how it is on OSI. When World Save happened, it started making last item.

Yes, that's gonna be a problem.

I've never officially added support for free shards for this or any of my other scripts, as stated in the script header. But whenever I can I try to point users in the right direction.

One of my next projects is to port this script to Stealth. With stealth, handling of world save could be done a lot easier...

Im pretty sure it is the problem, last night i did 132 bods in a row without having any issues, of course all were out of that 4 i mentioned before.

I have to say that i've checked the whole macro, and is just wonderfully scripted, but i had to do some changes to some types, cuz they were wrong on my shard, but after that, everything was going smoothly till i found the problem with that bods.

The point is that im still not enough good at scripting to correct it myself, if i were just enough good as you i would just send you a pm with my fix so u could post it here or do whatever with it, but im a newbie so... let me know if u could give it a try to fix it, if not i can handle it perfectly just by removing them from my books

Ty, ^^

Well, like I said, I don't officially support free shards. I won't turn down help whenever I can help though.

Have you tried modifying the types for those items that are still causing problems on your shard ?

If you want, send me pm with your code, and explanations of what you changed, what exactly happens when those bods show up, and maybe I can point you in the right direction towards fixing the rest for those specific ones...

Feel free to add me to ICQ as well... When I'm online, I could maybe offer some more interactive support...

Said3, what Freeshard you are playing? I mean on EUO Handling level, Namespaces for Bods are the same for Runuo as on Osi, the only differences mostly are the gumps. Offsets of Buttons , Menus and such arent updated for each Change on Osi. I believe if it crafts the wrong thing, it believes it crafts the right, unless you ocr cross check it.

Well thanks both for your support, actually i play on an osi clone freeshard, so what i've changed so far was some kind of types that were different and still dunno why, I guess Crome is on the right direction, the macro thinks its crafting the proper items cuz when it gets stucked, it stays on the loop of "until weight on #property" and it crafts the exactly amount of pieces that the bod says.

I completely understand your point of no supporting freeshards, but as a newbie scripter, this kind of errors are making me improve on my scripting, so i just ask for the tips to fix it by myself. I would like to contribute in the future with all of you.

I did some testing on it, if im running one of those bods and i pause the macro and change the last item made to the proper, it fills the bod without any issues, so i think the problem is completely on the first item that it mades.

As i said, i can handle the macro just checking for these bods before i start to roll the macro, there is no need to get worried about it, so again thanks both for your help.

If you tell me how to connect and wich tools u were using i can dump you all information of a gump through stealth. Then you can see offsets and compare with script.

What you also could keep in mind => Runuo have not the same kind of displaying items. So some items also could be in wrong categories for items.

Shall i say what server im playing? I have to say that i dont know how to handle stealth but i could give it a try. I dont know if its correct to give that information here and not on the freeshard forum, so if there is any issue i edit the post asap.

Sadly I have not gotten this script to work without breaking. It works almost flawlessly with blacksmith bods. Did three books. One got completed without breaking but every now and then it fills my bag with what I dont need. The most on tailoring I got done was about 40 and then it breaks. Tried to figure out if it was breaking on specific bods and wrote them down but found that the same ones were filled in the book previously so it can't be that. It might be that this script is just tooo superrr fast and if it hits a little lag it just hits make last lol. I'm currently using snickers s7bodfiller. Its not a multi book, but I drop out 100 in my pack at a time and an empty bod book and it never breaks, though it is a little slower which led me to my previous conclusion. Cant complain cuz it is still pretty much auto, although I do long for the day where i can hit play, go to work and have 10 books filled when I get back lol.

I think some Offsets arent the same + the Queue of Listed items is <> Osi
I have to admit that i dont know what to do with that information, but i really appreciate it, btw can i ask you for one of ur macros via PM? i have one doubt with OCR on one of ur macros, TY VM

Btw i will try to fix the offsets in the other macro, if i can do it i will pm you neo with my modification just in case you want to post it for others ^^

ok, i loaded this BoD filler, setup a secure chest with a huge stack of folded cloth (1 stack, 1 color) the BoD book and a stack of spined leather because the only BoDs i had in book were cloth & spined. had my trash barrel, backpack cleaned out. i hit play. did the setup targeting and was about to go afk when i noticed i had a targeting cursor on screen and nothing appeared to be happening.
in a nutshell, the script grabbed a BoD & cloth and knew what item to make but it wasn't targeting the pile of cloth to make item. just for testing, i targeted the pile, and again, and again. when it made the req'd amount of items, it immediately stuffed them into the BoD, put BoD in book, grabbed another and did exact same thing. i had to manually target cloth pile to get items made but script did all the other work.

anyone else having this issue? i stopped after the 2nd BoD to see if i can get some help so i can run it 'hands free' like i was hoping.

thanks for any and all advice/ help in advance

Targeting the pile of cloth? im not sure if i understand you, but when you make a item u drag over ur container and drop over your backpack, so all you have to do is just make the item on the sewing kit till it runs out of cloth right?

And Crome thanks for your support, im working on a different heartwood macro with ocr recogning, and just found out that kali made an exceptional script to help newbies like me to use ocr and perform difficult tasks, once i finish it i will post it, so everyone can work it.

In the other hand, like you said im playing on a freeshard so if i can i will just modify it for me only, because noone will have this issue if they are not playing my server.

Thanks again really ^^

its been runninf for a little bit and it got caught up twice, both on a shadow bod, a 15 ex shadow helmet and a 10 ex shadow plate helm, both times it makes plate gloves instead, any ideas?

ok i can see its picked up the plate gloves from the last succefull BOD it filled so it looks like its not changing the item to the new one to be made.

If im not wrong, thats related to a lag issue with the server, are u playing a freeshard?  if u're playing it i recommend you to check for the bods that make it stuck, they normally are the same, at least for me and get them away from the bulk order book.

Good luck

Just got the thing to work, and yes currently doin cloth only. It seems to go along fine for a bit then it pulls bod and starts makin the wrong item. I think it would keep goin but my pack was full. I have just enough room to do a 20 ct bod with 3 items for spare room.

I'm not on a free shard, trying to fill bone BODs.  For some reason, it's constantly getting hung up.

A common place it gets hung is under the move sub:

Code: [Select]
  repeat
    event property !bag
  until Stones in #property || Weight in #property || Deeds in #property

It wants to put all of my BODs into one book. I have them all pre-sorted by reward. Is there anyway to prevent this?

Its filling well though!

I know there is no free shard support for this script but I'm hoping someone here can help me because I know almost nothing about script writing. When I start the script it opens the menu for selecting the secure with books in it, I select tailor bods, choose recycle non ex, hit start, target my resource container, my salvage bag, and my trash can. The script pulls the bod book into my backpack, opens the bod book menu and just sits there forever. I made sure to clear the filter on the book and there are only tailor bods in the book.

I have no idea what to do.

Chances are the gump size is different than OSI and so it is trying to click where there is no button. You may want to try TM's Offset Click Generator to find where to click so you can try adjusting it in the script. http://www.scriptuo.com/index.php?topic=505.0

Doesn't work with Bone Armor bods as of the latest patch, it'll make 20 but then stopped, doesn't combine with the bod and won't get rid of the non-exceptional to the trash can...also, it'll randomly make other armors, for example a leather hat, instead of the bone armor the bod is calling for.

Have to say the method you use to store the craftinfo's for items is pretty innovative. :D Really took me a while to figure it out. Doesn't currently work in my fs because of gumpsizes (just like timbo's didn't) but will work it out when my ADHD level is a little lower. :P Thanks for the script!

Phew, got it working now. :) Had to change around some itemtypes and make it work with smaller gumps. Have to say, never imagined it could be this fast (4 bods / min with smith resets). If only turning them in was that fast..

Ran only into one problem, which was with the bod deed gump and clicking of the buttons (it kept closing the gump while it was supposed to start targeting the items to add). Could someone explain me how this #strres is useful while facilitating the y axis click? Ran out of intelligence and just messed around with the - constant until i got it to work  8)

sub bodclickpos
  str mid #contsize 5 3
  set #result #strres - 70
return #result

anyway, this guy deserves a virtual high five for this piece of art.

One more problem! Seems like the script keeps pulling more and more ingots until i'm overweight and start dropping the items manufactured. Couldn't really find a function reading the backpack weight, how is it done in this script? It seems to look for property but couldn't comprehend it fully. :/

I'm on a FS which is running on runuo and has ML & SE but not SA.

Maybe he check the propertystring of your Backpack. Because even if your stats say you can hold 900 as sample, when your backpack can only hold 550 its meaningless. This is also a way i check weights. Because Backpack +  Paperdoll = Weight but Maxweight is based of strength and doesnt override the backpack value

Been running this off and on over the last couple weeks since i have been farming bods again.  Its hit or miss for me.  One time it works great and fills 200+ bods with no problems and then days like today I can't get more than five bods without it overfilling my backpack.  I am pretty sure its lag related.  When its working its great!

Increased some of the wait times and it seems pretty solid now.  Up to 50 bods with no problems.

Backpack filled after 11 bods, sbod was Jester suits, it made plain dresses - which was the sbod prior.  So I guess it kept making last?

I love this script cause it's extremely fast, I just can't get it to be consistent.

;               - You need a trash barrel within two tiles for trashing bone items
;                 since they can't be recycled
;               - You must add the CONTAINERS which contain bod books to be filled
;                 to the menu list. When you add the container, all books inside
;                 that container will be added automatically to the list
;               - You must have at least 1 tinker tools inside backpack or resource

;               - You must have a secure with all the crafting material in

;               - Throw away in trash.

To get it working again with the new bod button layout post pub 95... Find

Code: [Select]
;======= sub bodclickpos =======
sub bodclickpos
  str mid #contsize 5 3
  set #result #strres - 54
return #result
;======= end sub =======

and change the
Code: [Select]
set #result #strres - 54to
Code: [Select]
 set #result #strres - 74
The button locations were moved to add in the new "fill from bag" feature but since this script wasn't written to use that it's easier just to click the other option, the above should do that. Happy crafting.

First read this: http://www.scriptuo.com/index.php?topic=447.0
Next read this: http://www.scriptuo.com/index.php?topic=1750.0
Then read this: http://www.scriptuo.com/index.php?topic=1683.0

be a good start.

It's more about the script going too fast and miss clicking and doing making last item on the next bod.  Is there a way to slow it up at that point?  Say put a wait 20 in there?  I've been tinkering with that but to no avail.

Where the script. I only have Ver 1.0   that ver release back in 2011 :)

I never use Neo to turn in BOD  I use Penny.   Ensure you can find the NPC because it was build for Tailor and smith.   What BOD are you trying to turn.  We need as much information as we can.

It's a bod filling script.  So it crafts the items and combines with the bod.  Then moves onto the next bod.  Just go back to the first page of this thread and you'll see the download.

It's been a while since I've attempted to mess with code or played uo for that matter.

Will be a nice refresher. So much has changed with this game. Love most of it, other than the characters looking like a rainbow shat all over them heh.

It works and I use this one. All you need is to skip the initial settings. And it's only for banking points.

You can also adjust it to work with the new BODs, where it tries to find the correct NPC:

          if alchemist in #property

One file for each skill. Not much modification.

Great script -- fast and works well -- with a couple of tweaks mentioned previously (so far tested Tailoring...unsure on BS yet)

Global Replace on:

set #result #strres - 54

and change to

set #result #strres - 74

Also -- to fix the wrong thing getting made (at least for me), I noticed that when things were getting thrown away in the trash barrel or something not related to actually making an item, I would get "You must wait to perform another action".  This would screw up the timing of selecting the correct menu item.  I'd like to put in some logic to handle that, but in the short term -- I simply increased the wait times.

Global Replace:

wait 10

with

wait 20

This fixed my issues and have been running well so far.  Brute force type of fix, but I've got BODs to fill.  This script still chugs out the BODs even with the longer wait time.

Ya know what I mean?

I made the suggested changes and tried it out last night.  I had to restart it a few times when it got stuck somewhere, but mostly worked.  I also have varying amounts of packet loss and didn't change any delays, so just kept an eye on it as I played on a different account.   Finished four books of blacksmith BODs in a few hours.

love this script, thank you Neo for a bod blessing, I have been filling tailor and smith bods nonstop for the past month. Found for the best results just fill books with same material type bods as much as possible, no errors this way, smith ones are actually flawless. I did notice one hiccup in tailor, salvage bag wont recycle cloth items. couldnt find scissors anywhere in setup and you do need those for salvage bag to work. This problem is is not happening during smith process since you use same tool for smelting and making items. Is there anyone here available to take a look at this issue? I tried to look through script, most of it is gibberish for me, i did notice that it is asking you to click at certain position on the salvage bag menu, wonder if we just need to change to click on "salvage all", that way it automatically consider scissors in the backpack. Thank you in advance

Thargorff - i went through script and cant find anything about salvage bag or scissors. i know scissors changed a little while ago, another script i had to fix that issue with yesterday as well. It may be a requirement now that wasnt needed when script was made, will see if can make a change on this one or ask the author about it.

Code: easyuo
  1. ;======= smelt sub =======
  2. sub smelt
  3.   exevent popup !trashbag
  4.   gosub gumpwait normal_gump 106_78 N/A
  5.   gosub offsetclick 47 20 f dmc ; 47 47 = salvage cloth, 47 20 = salvage all
  6. return

I can't say I know how to fix this without looking at it.

I know there were several key changes to the system - likely when the other bod systems were expanded. This past summer the S7BodfillerX project was completed and can fill most bods. It definitely works for all tailor, smith, inscription. I believe it works well for most, if not all, of the current alchemy, fletching and carpentry. Cooking it can fill, but doesn't make sub components and there are a lot of those in cooking.

same problem it pulls a bod from book makes items pulls up menu to fill bob but then does not target item. If you let it run for a while it will put the empty bod back in book and pull another with the made items still in pack. then repeats so just fills pack with needed items until full

Tried with a book of just 10 exceptional cloth then with a book of 10 exceptional iron. same result with both

Both opened secure, took out the book put it in backpack, pulled out a bod, got resources to craft and crafted items.

After the items are crafted it opens the bod to combine the crafted item. Target comes up and sits for 5 seconds or so but does not add item. This loops for i believe as many times as items in the bod. then pulls another bod and repeats process.

When the curser was up I tried to manually click on the item and it would not let me.

Stopped the script and every time it did make the correct items and the correct # of them.

My set up I had empty secure with only the bod book i was experimenting with in it, resource secure and trash can.

Depending on which version of s7bodfiller you mean, there are some issues with the original, because OSI updated how Bods were done after Snicker7's last update.
Neo's worked great when revisions were current with OSI functionality, too.

s7Bodfiller from 2011 or 2013 (I am too lazy to look it up) suffers from changes on OSI:
-large bods changed
-bone armor changed (tailoring)
-click locations changed

s7bodfillerx is a recent (last 2 years?) script update which adjusts for all the OSI changes that happened and works great for smith and tailoring (including bone) as well as combining the large from completed small bods. The only possible large bod filling complaint someone may legitimately raise would be filling large normal bods with exceptional footwear small bods. OSI allows it - so does the script.  That is not really a script issue since OSI permits this.

It is my belief that neo's script here needs some of the same corrections that s7bodfiller needed. Both were excellent scripts when current with OSI changes. neo's is faster processing.

Can't really compare speed with s7bodfillerx - it does all the different bod types - so it is much more complex in the situations it covers. It will be considered slow compared to neo's - for certain.

Thank you for letting me know its not something I was doing.

It looks like s7bodfillerx is probably only in the élite sections I just searched easy UO and the "x" version was not there. Looks like bod filling isn't in my near future, back to champ spawns  ;)

I ran threw this site and EZ site and all the bod fillers and none got very far.

Hi all, new here, name is Sylas!

I am interested in getting this to work but it says I need to post an acceptable introduction before I can download the 2 attachments??

So hi, I am Sylas...been playin UO for 16 years...just got into the BOD thing and wanted to give some fillers a try. Heard this was a good one!

So hopefully I can try it out soon.

You're going to want to make a "good" introduction in order to be able see and download the attachments. Go to the new members section and check out the stickies and then post an intro.

Anyone had issues with the 2.0 version. Well both for that matter It's not wanting to fill the BoD with the items after they are crafted.

What does the script do when it finishes crafting the items and before combining?

It helps if you step through the code (F7) to see what it is trying to do to figure out any issue.

The gosub thing as urban cowboy said. I saw a 22 and a 17 at one point.tHERE SEMS TO BE AN ISSUE WITH IT SELECTING (sorry caps) the Items that were made. Sometimes you get a quick glimpse of the fill gump other times it just stays on the screen and does nothing.

I had some analysis on this and a reply mostly written when our neighborhood power fluctuated. So here is my overview.

Urban cowboy identified an area near the start of the program where it creates the menu and waits for a button response. This happens when the script first starts and once it returns from it's final processing routine. I am assuming you two have found it there after trying to create a set of objects to combine with the SBOD and not just starting the script and watching it run there without giving it the choice inputs.

The location that is needed to debug is when the combine of the items is done with the SBOD. I would stick a pause in the script at that point and then use the F7 stepping from that point.

I compared the click locations with my bod filler project and it appears to be correctly offset - at least the 2 scripts are the same.

Here is what I would suggest verifying next:
Has the SBOD gump changed where the click locations are?
When the combine function happens in the script - is the current gump the SBOD? I ran into some scripts not working because production servers had an inserted gump that was essentially the lower left corner of the game where you type talk messages to people. If the gump that is currently 'active' is not the SBOD, then the click offset will be in the wrong place. This "feature" appeared a few years ago and broke many scripts that depended on click locations. There are commands to ignore a gump, swap the current gump and a method to cycle through all gumps that are not ignored. One of those options can fix this kind of an issue.
