The official Bourbon thread

Here I am, 6:38 central, and I have a bottle of bourbon in front of me.

I have never tasted this type of whiskey before, but I received it as a christmas gift. /alcoholic

This may be somewhat different than my regular So Co and Coke, but I will post updates as I try this.

I never get a hangover drinking brown liquer, but every once in a while, if I have spent any time with my crazy extended family and am feeling raw emotionally, I can get a little mean.  I also can't keep very good tabs on my sobriety because it goes down so easy.  As a result, I never drink it when I am out socially, but I still really enjoy it when I am relaxing at home watching a game or something.  Always straight on the rocks.  I have heard that WC Feilds used frozen steel balls to chill his because he didn't want it dilluted, but I like ice. My favorites are any type of scotch and Jack Daniels.

I've never had scotch before. Plus, I never get mean drinking. I always had this perfect invention. What if someway you could make a device that you could put over peoples heads when they come into a bar. It would read their overall anxiety and stress levels.

This way you could determine who would be angry drunks or nice drunks. :D
