General UO Chat / Breastplate of the Berserker

Okay, so I've been farming these Renowned Poison Elementals for quite some time now. Has anyone actually ever gotten a breastplate of the berserker off one?

I seem to recall somewhere that someone once picked one up off the ground, but I've never heard about it being a stealable.

Its the only thing I need to finish my GG thrower.

Requirements:
1. MWSubs.Txt Must be Saved into the same folder as your EASYUO Program
2. Must Either Be Human or Have at least 20 Carpentry
3. At Least 1 Tinker Tool on you
4. A Secure With Regular Boards, Iron Ingots, and Bolts
5. A Trash Can Within 2 Tiles
6. Containers Within 2 tiles that you wish to fill
7. 100 Magery
8. 100% LRC

Setup:
Set %Secure to the ID for your Secure Container.
This Script will fill as many chests as you would like, all you have to do is Enter the TYPES For the chests you wish to have filled and it will run until all within reach are filled.
With that Said, set %Chest_Types to the TYPES for the Chests you wish to fill.

If you don't know what a TYPE or an ID is, you should probably look at some tutorials here or at easyuo.

Things in this story may be exaggerated by 10%, except for the number of kills and how horrible they were.

Cruising around yew, on my stealth archer, looking for a fight. In the Guard Zone there's a mess of Blues Who Thinks they be tough! In a House not to far from Guard Zone There's a mess of Dubs (Dumb Nub), who also thinks they are tough!

FACT: I did not Smokebomb Once during the whole FIGHT

I'm all by my lonesome when 4 of the house sitters decide to come out and play. 2 Dexxers, 2 Archers. I'm hopping around spitting out mirror images, just sidestepping these god awful dexxers and putting everyone on foot (Ever Put 4 people on foot while staying on one screen? Its Fun). Anyways another dexxer runs in, and I Decide I'd better try to pick one off or book it before things get dicey, but Before I can even mention to one of the dexxers that soul seekers aren't a very good weapon choice for pvp his face hits the dirt. This was when the fight started getting funny.

Switched for the other dexxer on foot.

Shuriken (Man that guy can't cure my poison very well with that shield equipped.... X_X)

Pull the remaining 2 archers and the 1 dexxer north from the gate. They all remount by this time.

Proceed to open up can of WHOOP ASS
Redline the poor sucker, but he is just out of range for me to even hit him with a running shot.
Turn Around for the other Archer,
Run around while I Regen Mana
(Have I ever Mentioned I have a Mounted Dexxer after me while I'm on foot throughout this whole Fight? Well it will be a funny point later on)
Dismount the Archer,
Drop the archer in 3s Flat after Dismounting. (2 AI'S to the Chest, I hate having to only use AI's)

Dismount that LAST pesky Dexxer. (An Archer trying to hit a Bush Parry Dexxer is like a blind man Trying to Play Golf)
Dexxers are annoying, so I like to have fun with them instead of killing them and see how dumb they are.
SUMMON 4 NATURES FURIES (THAT'S RIGHT YOU NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT ONE DID YOU!)

While they distract him I remount, and start testing out how many cure potions he has VS how many Shurikens I have. Sadly He had more cure pots

Chasing the guy down, and he stops to start talking smack about how much I suck. I point out I just dropped four of his guildmates, he tells me that he isn't in their guild and I've NEVER killed anyone in his guild.

About that Time the RNG from the last 20 shots I missed turned around and I landed 4 ai's back to back dropping him immediately after he finished his statement.

I said, well I guess you're the FIRST then.

About that Time I was practically falling out of my chair in laughter. I haven't fought a group of players that sucked that much since 2006.

That was just one of those moments where something like this should just pop up on your screen

Have an Extra Account Lying around not being used?
Does that account have a 120 Music/Peacing Character?

If you answered Yes to both those quests Then guess what!

If you use the Peacing buff on one account, and then party the character you are training, they get 9 extra mana gen!!!! How Hott is that!!!!

How do you keep items in the grassy area of your castle without them decaying? There is a castle on baja with several items (Non Blessed) that are always in the grassy area and never decay. Anyone have any Ideas?

So, I've been on break from UO for about 2 months. I'll log in and tend plants, write a few scripts, do a spawn here and there, but overall my playtime is at an all time low. Something strange is that a 99% Blue Guild that was quite large and active on Baja has practically VANISHED since they began all the Bannings, Which is odd because they were all ANTI-Speeder/Anti-Scripters.

You Would think they would be sticking around and jumping all over the Perma Bannings that have been occurring and trying to get rid of everyone on the server!

Anyone noticing anything similar on some other shards? Its kinda strange for a guild that normally runs 10 deep every day to just go POOF.

I work about two weddings a week, so I figured i'd start a thread about crazy wedding stories!!!!

1. Father of the Bride walks over to the bar and asks for a beer, when the bartender tells him that the keg has been floated he proceeds to lift his leg, rip one, and fan it at the bartender before walking away.

2. Groom invites his ex to his wedding. Bride finds out, takes off her ring, shoves it as far into the cake as she can, and then Leaves. Wedding reception proceeded like nothing had happened.

3. We Setup for a wedding, 2 hours after it was supposed to start we get a call from the wedding party asking where we were and why the wedding wasn't set up. We told them it is set up, just come in. Turned out they booked a hotel in California with the same name as our hotel in Arkansas. *FacePalm*

The Biggest thing that would make me switch between EUO and OEUO is the difference in the latency in its ability to locate items.

I have some experience in the coding for OEUO, But am not using it on a regular basis, so was wondering if someone could do a test for me.

Compare the time required in ms for finding and getting the property of all items within your backpack, report the time required to complete the code, and the number of items in your backpack.

I would be greatly appreciative.

So, I'm trying to stream netflix to my computer using my WWAN.

It is supposed to have a DL speed of 1 mb/s, and I have a 300$ Antenna on top of my 3 story house to boost my signal to the maximum. Well, it took about 15 minutes to buffer 10 minutes worth of a show and i was like THIS IS BS. My dl speed averaged about 200 kb/s. I was FURIOUS. Even went to speedtest.net and it was showing a DL speed of 500 kb/s max.

SO, I whip out my android phone, no ANTENNA, 3 bars of signal, and go to speedtest.net. OH what do you know 1.1 mb/s.

Just goes to show you that ANY phone company that charges you 60$ A month for 5 GB worth of download is going to have REALLY bad internet.

Off Topic / Thinking about applying to MIT in a year.

I'm presently enrolled at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. After taking a two year break, for financial reasons, I'm back attending classes, but because of changes made in the department I am under, I lost ALOT of credits from my first year. The majority of the credits that were Lost were also the classes I happened to have a good grade in as well so, my GPA went down the drain.

Within a year I hope to raise my GPA to between a 3.0 and a 3.5 ( low considering I want to apply to MIT) and i'm hoping that using some credentials I had from when I was in High School, Was a team leader for a $10,000 MIT Inventeam grant, multiple AP classes, credit for Univ Chem 1 & 2 from Ap scores, and a decent GPA, hoping to do well on the SAT when I apply, as well as trying to incorporate how far i've come with learning a programming language with 0 experience in 3 years, will compensate some for the lower gpa(Maybe a video of the army + some other scripts or something doing their thing).

Thoughts? Ideas? Schools you would recommend over MIT? (Know there is one in California that is supposed to build the things NASA uses, but can't remember what its called)
