Hail!

My name is Thomas. I have been playing UO off and on since renaissance days (back when there was moonstones :D) Currently I have been using the pandora uo shard and really enjoy it. They have a lot of events and things to do that I feel are comparable to OSI shard. I have become more and more interested with scripting due both to the want to script on UO as well as for classes I am taking in school. Most of the classes I am taking are linux based type stuff, and it seems like scripts and lin go hand in hand. I am taking these classes as I have been off microsft OS's for about 4 years now and still cant utilize a real OS like I feel I should be. I quit using MS after having them attempt to charge me to use my legal payed for copy of windows one last time after my HDD nuked out on me. "You can recertify your copy of our crappy program for $85) Ya I don't think so. I wouldn't use windows now if THEY payed ME $85. Anyway, I have light experience playing around with editors such as vi, emacs, gedit etc. and feel I can begin working on my very own scripts soon, with the gracious expertise of your site's expert scripters. This would help out not only on UO but for school and general computing as well. I will always be polite and tactful in my correspondance nor will I steal or do anything malicious. When i read your Story iam really happy i getting MS products for free cuz of school program for IT-Developers...
I wouldnt pay for that stuff, before i need to pay extra money i would switch ,too.
