I just returned to UO after a 10 year break... soooooooo much has changed and i essentially emptied my account out before i quit. So i'm starting from the basics and gathering resources and getting my chars up to some level where they aren't completely useless.
Used to love UO i played from first day of release religously for 5 years every day. Left for a while to play EQ then came back for about a year. Left for 4 ish years and played for a few months... then we moved to Russia ( east Siberia ) and the internet bandwidth was just to terrible to play any online games. I got back into gaming about 2 years ago and played WOW but started searching for something else
What brought me back to UO, this latest time? I read a book called Awaken Online... I didnt even know this Genre of book existed ... heres a link to it.

and it had a lot of throw backs and similarity to old uo in it that reminded me of UO... so much so that i went thought he pain of trying to find my account info again
