Also, crome... Your build shows motherboard with 4 x 240pin memory slots... but you chose SO-DIMM 204pin memory? o_O

You are correct, i picked wrong RAM. May find him a correct one please iam not good on us stores :)

The ram you used in pcpartpicker build isn't the same as the type that crome listed. He accidentally listed SO-DIMM ram, which is the ram you would use with a laptop or a server :P

The memory you selected is sufficient and of the proper type. When you browse parts once you've selected a CPU and Mobo on pcpartpicker, they are really good about not displaying incompatible parts for those two components.

Save yourself a few bucks and get 1333 Memory... Intel FSB is locked at that, unless you plan on overclocking, its a waste to buy 1600

Not ahuge concern because most RAM is XML enabled, but make sure it says XML

All in all a nice build, real jealous   ;)

yea i dont think i need to over clock it . with this build. So with that in mind Got and suggestion for the mem?

stick with the 1600... apparently it increases performance by ~3% and is about the same price... probably has something to do with multiplier/fsb

as I said before though, if you create material you don't want to lose, RAID 1 is the way to go.
