I'd like to see TM's Misc Folder for Scripts.  I'm sure there's tons of Small subs that people would find use full :)

Oh man, I have OCRs, namespace debuggers, skillgaining of all sorts, doom looters, GM monitors, emailers, inscription gaining/resouces, automated miners, etc etc etc.

When I die, I'll leave it all to Cerveza!  Even the Luna vender scanner.  ;)  It's about time that we can do BOD scanning (and mine does...)  Muahahhah

I believe this is just the thing I need to get the info for Rana about the OSA.
Thanks for the script and the great site TrailMyx.

Ya, it's kinda cool.  I just sent one of my Bots to go grab me a pizza.  I just hope he doesn't get into a car accident again.  :)

That's what they normally do, and a common theory that suggests their loss of structural integrity.  heh

Sorry I derailed this thread onto the avatar, now back to the script.

I'm using this to run around the Abyss and other areas to get types and id's and really LOVE the way it keeps what it finds in the scrollable box so I don't have to stop and make a note of what things are. That is so damn handy.. A spot of genius here, TM - so a great big thx again !

Next, I'm going to go to work on a way to write all the accumulated data to a file, so I can copy/paste from my long list of stuff found when I finish running around.  Feel free to point me in the right direction if I haven't posted my success by the time you read this...
 ;)

Another awesome sub by TM... How do you find the time to do all this wonderous stuff?

It appears to be functioning quite well, and will most certainly be very, very useful for all kinds of applications... Now, it appears that you've not included the sub necessary to write the results to HTML or even plain text.  What I'm finding in the testdb.txt is not usable... How do I convert it to either a plain text list or HTML?  (I appreciate your patience)...

Back when I worked for myself, I had quite a bit of spare time.  That's no longer the case unfortunately.  That's just part of my massive trove of unrelease goodies.

The testdb.txt file is to be able to save and recall previous scans so you can "build" on your library.  This script screams to be coded in Lua, since file manipulation in EasyUO doesn't really exist.

I didn't add the HTML function it would seem; sort of unfinished in that regard.  Shouldn't be too hard to add if you can stub in my HTML generation routines:

http://www.scriptuo.com/index.php?topic=66.0;highlight=html

The hard work is done regarding the HTML generation, you just need to parse the array and spit the information out to a file.  Be prepared to grab a sammich and a movie because outputting a bunch of lines of HTML through EasyUO will take hours.  Might be worth looking at this using OpenEUO or Stealth.

I mainly used this script to create a large database of items where I could just load and find a #FINDTYPE just by searching, or by querying a partial name of something to see what seems to exist in the world.  This script pushes the limits of EUO memory management and does get very slow as you accumulate more items.  More reason to move to another scripting method; EUO just doesn't cut it for large amounts of data.

Yea, you're sure right about moving out of EUO... Probably won't be long till Cheffe doesn't even bother updating it.  I'll check out your HTML routine and see if I can piece it in...  Thx guy.

Well this one just made my day, thanks TM!

Unless another tool already exists for this I'd like to use it to help build a list of FINDTYPE, saved to a file. I'm trying to come up with a list of TYPE for rares, rewards, etc. The EUO documentation is great with crafting types but the finder is missing some items... or maybe I just want to create some lists baby!

I noticed you can't copy/paste the text on the left side, or clear it/remove an item, how could I do that?

I believe you can copy/paste, but you have to mouse over and use the context menu.  I don't think the keyboard shortcuts work for that.  But I use the context menu/right mouse button.

I have a world item database - I'll see if I ever posted that...

I've been working on tailoring my scripts(ie:hacking and mangling code) for the past couple of hours instead of playing the game, lol. On my to do list is getting Item types for various rares/desirables. A lot of items are in the item database but many are not, such as doom artifacts. http://www.uoguide.com/Artifacts_%28Doom%29

Code: [Select]
SET %doomArties ???_???_???
SET %goodDeeds ???_???_???
nope, doesn't work :)

I'd eventually like to work up a list of item TYPEs, which shouldn't be too hard it I use your tool while running around the vendors in Luna. My concern is that these items sometimes share a TYPE with non-artifacts, for example. Adding "Axe of the Heavens" to such a list would do me no good if it also loots regular double axes. I know I can make the script delve into the item properties but I'd rather keep the delving to a minimum.

Anyway - I'm very interested in your item TYPE list if you want to share it, I'm compiling my own the hard way right now. I did modify your tool so that it shows me items in a slightly different format in the %text window. example:
Code: [Select]
AUD = Metal Box$Weight: 124 Stones$...etc
By making the info all appear on one line with the TYPE up front I can create a list pretty quickly. The trouble is the LEFT side of the menu can't be copied/pasted/saved, right click on that side doesn't work. Neither does ctrl+c etc. I would love to export it to notepad++ when done.

Ultimately I'm going to populate variables with the item types, ie: set doomArties xxx_xxx_xxx etc. so the easier it is to do the more likely I am to make it perfect... and I'll share! :)

I don't think I ever shared it.  I don't see any reason why not, so I'll hunt around and post it.

Sweet, I needs it for what I'm working on right now!  ;)

As I type this I'm realizing just how complicated a task it is to have a complete list. The crates I was just messing with, for example, well when you put them down they get a TYPE assigned like all items do but if I move it and it changes direction... that's a different item TYPE. Obviously you need both types if you work with crates then. Some items, like the luck globe, don't turn when you drop them but they can be turned by the house tool, again... different type of item when turned. What a pain..!!

Not even Elite, I just never posted it.  It has problems because of the way things are saved to file.  It's really easy to get a file corrupted, plus EUO gets really slow, so I never thought it was ready to be published.  However, assuming no support, I wouldn't mind sharing it to the general public.  I just don't have my server up and running right now, but by the weekend, I'll post it.
