Chinese Chicken and broccoli

This is one of my favorite recipes! I will use chicken breast but I love using a chicken thigh even if I have to debone and skin it myself for the sales at a store.
I like to make extra sauce for it too because everyone loves the sauce! Hope someone tries it out my sister sent this to me and I highly recommend it.
I'm no cheffe either so it takes me longer than it says to actually prep and cook.

I hope you do give it a try! I've been told since the sauce's can take me awhile to just make a lot at once and store and freeze the extra til the next time I'm ready for it.
Buen Provecho! "Enjoy your meal"

Very nice. I cheat and use a bottled Oyster Sauce I pick up at an Asian market here, LOVE that stuff! And it gives the dish that "authentic" American Chinese take-out flavor hehe.

I was just talking about this with a friend this morning, the INDESPENSABLE sauces for Asian cooking in my house, I always have them on hand:

Dark Soy Sauce
Sweet Soy Sauce
High quality Fish Sauce - Red Boat is my favorite
Golden Mountain Sauce
Oyster Sauce
Coconut Amino's for when I'm eating solid Paleo
I feel like I'm missing one....

And of course there is regular Soy Sauce, Hoisin, and Sriracha for the table.

I'm a bit of an Asian chef junkie actually. I stock 4 or 5 different types of rice and another 5 different types/styles of rice noodles LOL. Plus the rice and tapioca flours for making homemade rice noodles. Nori for rolling sushi, rice papers, dumpling wrappers - I LOVE hitting up the Asian market, I could spend a couple hours there just walking around looking at stuff.

Anyway, I've hijacked your thread - sorry. I need more people to talk about cooking with hehe.
