Ok... so I have a 2.5 yr old little Girl.   I also have a decent size deck, which inevitably has a few cartoon themed bouncing balls out there for her to play with.  Yesterday the munchkin runs inside from playing "Ball-catch" as she calls it, with mommy.

Munchkin:  "I love playing with the Balls on the Dick Daddy!" 

Me: *Trying not to choke* "The Balls on the what sweetie ?"

Munchkin: "Playing Ball-catch on the Dick with Mommy is Fun Daddy...."

Wife: *laughing* "Yes it is sweetie, come back outside & let Daddy work..."

Gah...   Deck / Dick  no big difference there!  lol ahhh what fun.

So I've been script killing Thrasher lately with a toon built for the purpose, but I've noticed my character is randomly getting disconnected quite frequently.    I'm casting spells / Moving / looting etc so definately performing actions that in the past have kept me logged in.  Just wondering if they put in something sneaky....  perhaps if the mouse doesn't move around etc.. ?

Ok... so this has been happening alot to me recently.   I'll be killing stuff in shame or hunting in the abyss at a few select areas & all of a sudden I will see "a war horse" pop up in blue text on the LEFT side of my screen.  It's almost like it's a system message but it's the wrong color.  I've been alone in these cases, but I have a sneaking suspicion that what I'm seeing is a hidden person logging in & the blue "a war horse" messages (4 of em) that I see are his pets in his stable loading?  Anyway, just curious & wondering if anyone can shed some light on it.   Also, if I remember correctly there used to be an oldschool method of running a type of "spawn camera" but instead you used a tamed pet in the dungeon & if I remember correctly the pet would change it's orientation if anyone else entered the sub server the dungeon was on....  Does anyone know if I'm remembering that correctly or wanna test heh?

Question:
How would you calculate the X/Y location 14 tiles distance from your character in the DIRECTION of your mouse cursor?

OK...  so I've always been aware that field spells can be cast more than 10 tiles.... but recently came up against a group of people that were dropping fields on me from offscreen where I KNOW they couldn't have simply set that as a last target.  It's possible they had macros but it was in a few different choke points so I think it's unlikely.   I'm also aware that you can increase your resolution in various ways to do this, but in 3 cases the SPEED with which walls of stone went down make it seem like a preset macro to me (though in 4 different places argues against this)....

So....  What I was thinking of is a way to cast certain spells have have a script running that recognizes which spell is cast & allows you to target that spell say 14 tiles away from your #charpos X/Y but in the direction you have your mouse cursor obviously.  I realize I could use #chardir and then just have maybe 8 (N-S-E-W & the diagonals) pre-calculated X/Y offsets to determine where to drop your spell.  This is far from the best method though bc your character isn't always facing in the direction you want to cast your spell (though your cursor could be to that side).    Ah well...  I know there's a sub that converts Cursor position to in game world coordinates I'm just not sure that's what I'm looking for.

Personally I almost always start with UO news...

1) SUO Shoutbox check ! / Unread posts check!

2) UO Hall (Rarely a shard specific forum or 2)

3) Search UO for whatever I'm hoping to buy (or just to price check etc)

4) Log into Vent & Ask "What's up ??"

5) Finally.. I will actually log into UO... Usually to check how my unattended Scripting for whatever went the previous night..

6) Decide if I want to continue with above Scripting while I check Demonoid for new Movies / Music / etc.. or actually log on to play UO (Manually lol can you belive that ??)

7) Realize There is nothing that falls under the category of "Want to do" (PvP) & switches to "Need to do" instead...   Resources / Crafting / Elemental Weapons / Bods / Binding Scrolls etc..

Anyway....   that's a fair peek about how I start my UO days...   Anyone else?

Ok... so I'm trying to put together some difficult suits & I'm missing some information...
Currently Human leather armor has BASE resists of 2-4-3-3-3.   I know that when you craft it exceptionally with GM armslore you get 20 more resist points Randomly distributed to the 5 areas.   What I'd like to know is the Maximum possible of the 20 exp. points that you can have applied to just ONE resist ?   I know that as a rule of thumb you can expect 11 (out of the 20) to land in 1 resist If you script it for a day or more lol.   I've been collecting some pieces though and here's what I have.

Call it 100,000 pc's crafted so far... (1290 / Hr  roughly heh)

Out of that I've landed

1 Exceptional piece with 18 Energy (3 Base energy Resist) which = 15 / 20 of the exceptional bonus applied to Energy...
1 Exceptional piece with 18 Physical (2 Base Physical Resist which = 16 / 20 applied to physical...

Out of the 100k pieces though I've NOT received Fire / Cold / Poison  with more than 11 / 20 which seems odd to me.  I'd like to simply start with what's possible & work on the odds of it happening once we know that .   Anyway if you have any info on this topic pls feel free!   I'm going to Thank Manwinc Ahead of time bc I KNOW he's done this stuff too heh.
