Mystic Mage Ninja PVP template

I haven't really PvPed in 2 years as I had taken a break from UO. Back then, ninja bokuto dexxers and necro mages were bomb. Now that I'm back, I've added mysticism to my necro mage and like it a lot; more than i like necromancy.

My question is, has anyone run a mystic/mage with ninjitsu for DS and animal forms?

Something like:

120 magery
120 eval
120 myst
120 focus
120 ninjitsu
120 ?? (ive never really been a big fan of resisting spells or meditation. possibly a mini necro package?)

I'll be switching between two imbued planeswords (one with DCI, one with HCI. I have 45 dci on my suit alone)

Would the investment for ninjitsu be worthwhile? I love the idea of ninja forms for running after a dismount, and I'm hugely fond of deathstrike (having run a gimp ninja bok dexxer.) I just don't know if there's something better to do with the 120 points.

Any suggestions?

For pvp, I still push for resist.  What is your plan against mages otherwise?

I'd still go resist, but thats just me. If You are still Heavily against it.


Go 60 necro 60 ss, enough to evil omen and have it last for a pit, and enough to pain spike for some light damage.

Now and days resists is crucial. When field fighting you will notice you get spell plagued like crazy. Appling doesn't work because as soon as you apple one you will get hit with another. Spell plague can do massive damage in a short amount of time. Having 120 resist cuts the spell plague time in, I believe, half of what it would be without the resist.

Yeah I run right now 120 Mage/Eval/Resist/Focus/Ninja/Mystic on my temp.

However, once I get my imbuer to get off his booty I'm going to attempt to add in 60 necro. Guess cut down on ninja some and jewel it.

The only way I like 60 necro is if it's at least 60necro/100-100+ss

Resist spells is a must. There are some guys that run zero, but once they're found out it's para spams/mana vamps 24/7 on them.

Ninja is fine if you're in factions and keep facing dismount ganks. Mirror image is sooo good while you're waiting out the timer on the dismount so you can animal form. Your deathsrike will on be like 17 I believe, and I would roll with a bokuto so you can enhance 2 hpr on the stick.

Other popular skills to rotate in instead of ninja are:

Scribe
Med
Spellweaving

You could even go with wrestling or 100 anat/120 eval for the defensive equivalent of 120 wrestling, in case you're sick of getting disarm spammed.

Necro honestly is not used in PvP much at all. Its still awesome for working spawns.

I think with your template with ninja and resist it will make the gank much harder. You can always keep some fullstones around for switching temps around.
