A problem on one of my computers
« on: November 20, 2013, 10:21:28 AM »

So on 4 of my computers Stealth 6.1.4 is working great. But on the fifth I can not login any characters ie it does not connect. I have copied the stealth files from a working machine to this one with no luck - so it is not a set up problem in stealth.  :'(

It says I have a time out error from the server.

Any one have a clue?
(I checked firewall and seem to not have a problem there)

If it works on 4 out of 5, it certainly sounds like a firewall problem.

EDIT:  Either windows firewall, or perhaps an Anti-virus suite firewall?

Are you able to log into the game on that computer without the use of stealth?

Using microsoft security essentials on all machines but will recheck.
Also will rest all firewall rules.

Are you connecting to OSI?

Did you check the client version you have configured?  There was a recent patch ... need to update the client version to 7.0.34

I am updated since I can run uosteam or uoassist.

I am not connecting to OSI through stealth. I get an error that the client did not respond. I don't get the stealth shard selector to pop up.

Remember Stealth is working on 4 out of 5 of my machines - only does not connect on one.

Things I have tried:

I reset firewall to default - no luck
Checked virus checker (set to same as other 4 machines) -  no luck
checked paths on all - all correct
copied files from a working machine - no luck
checked for registry errors - no luck
