IDOC Hunting / Re: Wow! The idoc monitor-looter rules!

Will definitly have to try it out......IDOCs are always so crowded these days, at least on GL.  rarely do you find one not camped by many leaving it hard to get the good items youve pre marked.

Also there is a planned IDOC on GL tomorrow i plan on attending.....will give it a run then :)

If at first you don't succeed, try try again. Then give up. There is no use in making a fool of yourself.

THIS IS GREAT!  Wise words of wisdom!

New member introductions / Hello, cdavbar, new to SUO
« on: September 03, 2010, 03:57:12 PM »
Hello all!

Im cdavbar, and I am new to the SUO community.  Ive been playing UO for years and years now.  My usual site was WinUO as well as EUO.  Sadly WinUO is no longer in operation as Freddy has decided not to keep the site up anymore.

IRL i life in Michigan, United States.  My game time has lowered from what it used to be due to real life issues, im currently going back to school, gotta love the economy, working, and have kids.

The great programs made by the writers here as well as the ones that are available other places are what makes UO possible for people like me and others with extremely busy schedules.  Without that generosity life would be full of clicking and clicking and never enjoying the game we all love so much.

As far as writing my own things, Ive been slowly teaching myself some simple things to do, nothing spectacular but it is always a work in progress.  I have also taught myself to try to "debug" scripts that dont seem to work for me.  Most of the time i can fix it myself before having to post that question "it dont work fix it please"  mostly becuase i got sick of reading posts and seeing that too many people wanted it ALL free and never wanted to get their hands dirty, and a little initiative can go a LONG way no matter what site your on or who your dealing with.

I look forward to chatting on the boards and meeting more of the members.

Thanks!
cdavbar
