Best places to find legendary items(As loot)

Anyone know a good placed to farm legendary items besides the roof?

Depends on how patient you are.  Vortexes in SHame are quite good - or, they were three years ago.

I don't mind the vortexes as you can get void orbs from them as well as shame crystals. But I haven't gotten anything actually great from them in awhile.

ATM  to get Legendary items you need to do the Roof.  This is were I get mine now.

dang was hoping there would be a place that I could do more solo. I haven't been able to solo virtue bane yet..

Virtuebane isn't too hard. If you want to do it on one account I would bring a sampire, with a 100% cold double axe with demon slayer. Use whirlwind to kill any monsters that he spawns and onslaught and double strike on him.

Alternatively with multiple accounts, tamers or multiple sampires and a bard will works well.

I have a guilmate that use two toons. Disco \tamer  and an weaver tamer.    Lvl 3 masterie is the key I beleive.  I only have lvl 2 I most f my guy.   Was to busy on Rebirth to farm those  lvl 3:(

Hmm im going to have to give that a try I guess I was using the wrong weapon. I was told best option was a daisho.

Anyone have a way to solo ozy on a sampire? i guess i have never got him prior to today. he wrecked me.

The roof is hands down the best place, but it's not the only place. I used to get a few fishing up the big baddie with ancient nets but now it takes 10-15 kills to get 1 legendary and that's just not practical as a farming source. I also got some in Shame a long time ago now but again, none in a long while. They keep tinkering with the loot table, it's sometimes fun just to go back and re-try old stomping grounds too.

Sampires used to be my favorite but of late I find myself on a necro/mage with either weaving or mysticism to plow through the early spawn more quickly. The game isn't always friendly to melee when it comes to bosses.

For ozy on my sampire I alternate between 2 weapons. If there is no spawn around I use a bladed staff with leaches and hit lower attack. Basically just spamming armor ignore on him. When he spawns the monsters I switch to a 100% energy double axe (with demon slayer and hit lower attack) and use whirlwind to kill the spawn.

While it's possible to do the entire roof with only 1 sampire, it's a lot easier if you have a bard to discord the bosses (all but Virtuebane can be discored) and run the peacemaking masteries to reduce the damage you take.

I didn't mention it in my earlier post, but when fighting Virturebane you want to have hit lower attack on your double axe as well. That makes a really big difference in how often you get hit.
