Multi House Account

I am looking at picking up a multi-house account and I have some questions that I wonder if folks can answer for me:

1. Refreshing the houses:  It is my understanding that the houses will need to be refreshed by an owner or co-owner.  Does anyone remember what the time period is for this?

2. Customizing a house: Can you customize a house on a multihouse account without condemning the other houses? I know you can't place a house without condemning them.

House refresh needs to be done once every 7 days to keep the house from collapsing.

Some accounts are grandfathered. You have to really check.
