The sad part is that Les is moving on. There won't be any new Survivorman episodes.

He's a musician, film maker and survivalist. He's got some projects lined up to combine them together.

I've heard a couple things... something about retracing the routes of various early explorers. Doing it with tools of the time.

I've also hear about some IMAX type stuff, with a mix of wilderness and music.

If you haven't checked it out, I recommend reading some of Les' stuff from his web page.

That would be quite interesting.

Bear takes way too many unnecessary risks.  I also don't like watching him eat the native bugs which he seems to do in every episode I have seen.

"Bear eats bug take 2.  Cue dung beetle and ACTION!"

I have to say I was impressed with Les (yes, I actually watched.).  Too bad his show is coming to an end.  I guess one can only handle 24hr. diarrhoea and stomach parasites for so long....

I watched Survivor Man every time I surfed to it.  My favorite episode was the one with the jaguar.  Any man that treks through the amazon by himself clanks when he walks.
