Thoughts on Bushido Training From 100-120

Requirements:
1) Safe place in Tram to train (I use my house)
2) 103 gold to buy a rabbit
3) A high weapon skill of any type (mace or swords or fencing or gm magery and use staff of magi)
4) Not guilded

I started by making the fastest weapon I could and since i am training a gargoyle I needed a weapon he could handle.

I ended up using a gargish kryss but a skinning knife, butherknife, cleaver etc could be used. I wanted a weapon speed of 2s.

Since my weapon skill was swords I imbued it with Use Best Weapon Skill (also hit manna leach, hit chance increase and swing speed increase)

I bought a rabbit to train on. You can hit a rabbit almost every time and that is the key. Any animal will work though. I also use a rabbit because i don't have to worry about him hitting me much (and this saves my armor).

I used Trailmyx's Stats Builder (for STR, DEX, INT) http://www.scriptuo.com/index.php?topic=1153.0

to set my dex to 110, Int to 80 and Str 60 (wanted dex high and int high)

Its best to use all the focus and med you can get.

I then equipped anything with hit chance, dex, manna regen and lower manna cost on my toon.
ie pendant, Ring of vile, ornament, totem etc

I then started up The Lazy LS Bushido Gainer http://www.easyuo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=217616#217616

and let her go (making sure I repaired my Kryss every now and then).

Went from 100 BS to 110 in 4 hours.
Next day went from 110 to 115 about 2.5 hours
at 115 it slowed down and took about 2 hours to get to 118
trainiing now to 120

If you want to do it fast, go to the dread horn area and let a satyr discord you, step through the teleporter, and step back through quickly so you are still discorded, then just stay close and keep ls'ing your horse.

If you want to do it safely, just continue beating on your horse in a house.

That's pretty fast Gimlet.

Balanced stats make all the difference. Seems you got it dialed in pretty good.

I haven't gone from 100-118 in that short amount of time.

How long to calibrate the stats?

Less than an hour to get my stats at that level.

Also from 118-120  took me less than 3 hours

As a side note.... when training Ninja on a non-melee char (mage) I use a similar method.

Get a rabbit.
Jewelry with +30 Fencing, +30 HCI, +16 Dex.
LMC, MI, MR armor.

With 30 fencing and some hci you'll hit every time.

I've always used a horse...rabbit are better eh'?

I didn't think there would be a difference.

Maybe that's why Gimlets time beat me so bad.

A note on ninjitsu/bushido training - normal weapons with Self Repair drop in Shame and Wrong now, so if you don't want to keep stopping for repair try getting your hands on one of those :) Seems that a lot of 100% Poison weapons drop in Shame too but nobody notices because they are grey like normal loot, I imagine one of those with Self Repair would be pretty handy for normal melee training :)

I had not notice that they where grey instead of being green thank you 8ball.

Prior to these shame drops I used the arti sword with self repair 10, can't recall the name but it comes from one of the green tokens...I'm sure that everyone has one kicking around the home if you look for it.  Slow but effective.
Nope!  I'm doing what all the real PvPers do:  Scripting everything except the running away part!  I'm real good at that already...
