Good evening folks. Long time away. Thinking of giving UO another shot, loved this game so much. Not sure I can still play, or write scripts... will definitely be very rusty to say the least. 10 years gone is a long time. But, if I do get back into the game I will likely get back into scripting. Thanks for all the kind words over the years.

Welcome back!!!

It is still active enough.  Freeshards are alive and well also.  So there are options depending on what you would like to do.

One of our requirements is to have a thoughtful introduction.  Please review the rules again and edit your post.  Examples can be found as stickies at the top.

No grudges felt here.  Sometimes little things like that can create opportunities else where.  UOCoders was great because of the people, and it lived on when it came to ScriptUO.  The community is still here, and you are still apart of the community.

guest my net frame is not working properly.

Whatever you are using is blocking Https.  All files are stored on a server that requires SSL.  Could but a firewall, could be anti-virus, could be you have settings in your browser disabling it, could be VPN.

Crafting / Re: Crisis Craft and Fill Spellbook Filler Version 1.3b
« on: December 22, 2021, 08:46:39 PM »
Did some tweaks to it.  Noticed that you had a few areas where it was checking if need meditate or craft.  Rather than mediate THEN craft.  So i fixed that. Also changed a few at the end that were having issues with making last. It would go a bit too early and fail a mana check and not be able to craft next scroll. so then it would be stuck in a make last loop. I changed it so that it wasn't doing make last, but the whole category and spell choice over again.

Something else is odd since Gad was able to register.  Strange.  I'll keep poking at it.  Thanks for checking.

Gaderian said he also had to turn off his vpn to register.  I didn't, but there's that.

Also, https is turned on so perhaps point the the site using https://retroactivity.net

Yep that is it.  I could view main site without https.  Once i tried to do anything it required HTTPS

Site News / log4j and ScriptUO
« on: December 15, 2021, 08:37:41 PM »
Just wanted everyone to know that I have been checking into whether we would have a log4j issue with our current setup. The easy answer is: NO.  For our server management we use Plesk.

Situation
CVE-2021-44228 is a vulnerability in Apache Log4j which is a Java library. So, this vulnerability may affect Java-based applications only.

Impact
Plesk does not use Java internally, so Plesk is not affected by this vulnerability. Since Tomcat support in Plesk was dropped in Plesk 17.8, Plesk does not support users' Java-based applications.
