There are 5 Foos in total we all live in the same town, we recently decided on the inability of any recent mutliplayer game to hold our attention for more then 2 months to come back to the greatest of all MMOs, Ultima Online. We used to play on a freeshard named Flinthills which was a very basic shard but had a great little community.
After a 8 year break and all the changes that has brought about in the world of Ultima we have found this no easy task, we joined the free shard UOGAMERS: Demise 2 weeks ago and our journy started.
With nothing to our name but a few gold pieces and basic weapons we proceeded to the south of new haven to smite the evil that lurked there, after smashing many a skull and bone to dust our skills slowly raising we decided that we should seek better fortune elsewhere, after speaking to a few fellow adventurers we heard of a place of giant beasts named Ettins to test our metal against, we stocked up on supplies and headed into a blue light, finding ourselves in a new land at the shrine of honesty surrounded by abominations named gazers, an eager member of our fellowship charged headstrong into battle soon to find himself looking down at his charred and bleeding corpse laying on the ground, fueled with rage with what these beasts had done we all burst into action swinging wildely hacking into the beasts but to little avail, we found ourselves becoming quickly overwhelmed, engulfed in flames i was the next to fall and one by one they tore us apart.
We never did get to the ettins that day and this is what is so appealing about UO to me, not being told where to go and what to do, but making up our own adventures and having so much fun while doing it, I'm hoping the fellow adventurers and scripts here will be able to help our group progress and survive in this harsh world.
