Updated. Jungle trees included now + the weird twigs that would only block if they were placed in a certain way are now highlighted pink (I love pink).

Added a megaupload download link, since I'm not sure how long the rapidshare one will live.

Did you make sure you had the right directory?

Also make sure you have full rights to the directory where UO is installed.

is it possible to change gargoles graphics to e.g. elfs ?  if yes, how?

I have this trouble with gargoles, when they are flying my screen is starting to have a slide show. And now that's why I need to make those changes.

Years ago I had a friend who's wife was terrified of spiders. So we changed his client to make spiders into Wraiths

Find the bodyconv.def file in the uo directory. Edit the file using notepad. Make sure you backup first!

Find the following lines:

# This was the original line for the giant spiders since LBR           
#28   5   -1   -1   -1
#This line reverts the spiders back to the original style           
28   -1   -1   -1   -1


101   6   -1   -1   -1

Change the last 2 lines to look like this. (ie change -1 to 24 and 6 to 24)

28   24   -1   -1   -1


101   24   -1   -1   -1

This will change the spiders to wraiths.

enjoy if you are afraid of the bits and bytes of UO!

Now if you play around you might be able to change a gargoyle into something else.

I'm sorry I haven't posted here in some time. Been busy and when I'm not busy, been playing.

The patcher should still work fine (I just used it again tonight). Going to try to post more on here starting now!

One of the more recent updates wouldn't let me patch without replacing the changed files with your backups you should've made, but after that worked fine.

Hmm do I need to run the New Virus Scan link first and scan, or do I just click the Megaupload link and click the Premium download button?
