Honestly I'm reading World War Z right now which is pretty interesting.
If you haven't seen Diary of the Dead I suggest you watch that. Pretty interesting movie.
Besides that...I'm sure we have seen every zombie movie eighty times. LOL

Great Movie anyway you slice it Paulonius!
I'm surprised that Scareface and Godfather's haven't been mentioned.
Another Movie I love is 'The Lost Boys'...I think someone here mentioned something about a sequel having been made. I need to see that...
It's way better than any of these silly vampire movies comming out lately.
Also 'Ghandhi' was a great movie and another silly one from the 80's the chick flick 'Girls just want to have fun'.... "Tune in Tokyo"!

I've heard mixed reviews about the avatar movie. Some people say it is horrible while others say it is awesome. I'll wait until HBO. :D
-
The plotline was a little corny, but the action was sollid, it developed well without dragging and it was visually pretty amazing. I think you will miss some of it not seeing it in 3d. Really the best 3d movie I have seen.
-
IMO, Avatar is nothing without the 3D. In 3D it was so amazing I saw it twice.
IMAX, too.

I wouldn't say it was corny, I would say it was old, washed up, and boring!
The colors, effects, and action scenes were good though.
For me, the 3D didn't add anything to it.

I really enjoyed Avatar. I was prepared to hate it so I guessed it surprised me. What I like most about it is that it was one of those movies that the whole family found something to like, even my cynical husband found something to like about it (although I think he would agree about the storyline). Two year old loved it but he is a truck/machine crazy freak already. God help us. :)

Avatar in IMAX is headed back to theatres with a whopping 8 minutes of extra content!
-
I know, that's just plain greedy isn't it...
