Scribes Max Manna Regen Suit.

Ok i rolled my scribe out of retirement and realised his suit is ancient.  So im attempting to put togeher a max mana regen suit for constant inscription actions ...

Below is what ive got so far... are thier items with higher regen that i can switch out with...

Head - 4MR - +8int -Hat of Magi 
Neck - 3MR - +10int -Pendant of magi
Chest- 3mr   +10manna rune beetel carapace
Left hand - 3mr - broomstick
cloak -  2mr - conjurers garb
Sash - 2mr  - +5int Lietenant of royal guard

Arms   2mr - +8 manna  generic imbued item
Gloves 2mr - +8 manna generic imbued item
Legs   2mr - +8 manna generic imbued item

Talisman -  +5int +2manna - Library Talisman - my book + incrsiption
Feet - 2int - legendary detective

Apron    -  ?? - Tangle if i can find one
Rigth Hand - ??

Totals --- 23mr ,  +28int  +36Mana

Ring/Bracelet - crystalline/faction orny = +6MR

Feet can actually be 4int from the best boots

Instead of boomstick you can use a faction tome with 3MR 8INT

There is a new shield with MR on it I think (or maybe it's a rare thingee)

Equipment
The most common equipment with the Mana Regeneration property are:

    * Hat of the Magi - MR 4
    * Pendant of the Magi - MR 3
    * Rune Beetle Carapace - MR 3
    * Runic Crafted Leggings - MR 2
    * Runic Crafted Sleeves - MR 2
    * Runic Crafted Gloves - MR 2
    * Boomstick - MR 3
    * Crystalline Ring - MR 3
    * Dark Sapphire Bracelet - MR 2

There is no cap on the amount of Mana Regeneration a character can have. However, the property is subject to "diminishing returns," meaning that each 1 MR added onto a suit will have less and less of an impact. It will always add something to a character's mana regeneration rate, but each 1 point will mean less and less.

The "hard cap" was removed, and diminishing returns introduced, in Publish 46.

Publish 46 should be kept in mind when using the mana regeneration formulae on this page.

No, Tome of Lost Knowledge has 3MR as well, AND 8INT

Either way thats a hell of alot of MR .. presently i can only reach 28 as i dont choose to join a faction on this char.

I wonder if that enough for continuous scroll production .. guess it depends on exacly what the reducing returns equate to.

I'd sacrifice some MR to make sure you have 40LMC. RBC gives 15, PoM 10. Still need 15 more.

I didnt think LMC affects inscription at all.  please correct me if im wrong.

I tried LMC and could not tell any effect it had on mana cost it seemed same with and without.

This one's a bit involved:

1> Base Mana Regen Rate is 0.2 mana per second
2> Focus Bonus is Focus / 200 mana per second
3A> Let Meditation Bonus be 0.0075 * Meditation Skill + 0.0025 * Intelligence Attribute
3B> If your Meditation Skill is GM or above, multiple Meditation Bonus by 1.1
3C> If you are actively meditating, multiply Meditation Bonus by 2
4A> Let Base Item Bonus be (Meditation Skill / 2 + Focus Skill / 4) / 90
4B> Multiply Base Item Bonus by 0.65, then add 2.35
4C> Let Intensity Bonus be the square root of the sum of your Mana Regen intensities, capped at 5.5 (30 total intensity).
4D> Let Final Item Bonus be ((Base Item Bonus * Intensity Bonus) - (Base Item Bonus - 1)) / 10. This is mana per second.
5> Add the Base Mana Regen Rate, Focus Bonus, and Item Bonus. Add your Meditation Bonus only if you're not wearing non-meddable armor. The result is your total mana regeneration per second.

Here is an example:

120 Med, 100 Focus, 110 Int, +25 Mana Regen from Items, wearing meddable armor.

Base is 0.2
Focus Bonus is 0.5
Med Bonus is 0.9 from Skill + 0.275 from Int, multiplied by 1.1 from > GM Med = 1.2925 (or 2.585 if actively meditating)
Base Item Bonus is 2.35 + 0.65 * (85 / 90) = 2.964
Intensity Bonus is the square root of 25 = 5
Item Bonus is ((5 * 2.964) - (2.964 - 1)) / 10 = 1.2856

So my total regen rates are:
1> Meddable armor, not meditating: 0.2 + 0.5 + 1.2925 + 1.2856 = 3.2781 per second
2> Meddable armor, meditating: 0.2 + 0.5 + 2.585 + 1.2856 = 4.5706
3> Non-meddable armor: 0.2 + 0.5 + 1.2856 = 1.9856

(Hopefully I didn't mess up the number crunching here)
